i have a friends that is having trouble getting pregnent. and i have no clue on what to tell her to help. so if there is anyone out there that can help. what can i tell her? is there any sugestion that i can give that they can try. if there anyone thats had this problem and got pregnat that could help it would be be really nice. she want a kid realy bad and i really would to help her.
Has she been to the doctor and tried different fertility methods? That is the first thing she should do to be on her path to becoming a mom.
Sometimes the best way to get pregnant is to stop trying. I know it sounds silly but it is true. My grandparents tried to get pregnant for a few years and finally decided to give up and began to look into adoption then guess what. My grandmother got pregnant with my dad because she wasn't stressing over trying to get pregnant any more. The stress of trying can actually cause it to be more difficult. This is unless her doctor has told her something different.

I would tell her to get her thyroid checked. They are finding that a low thyroid impacts whether or not you can conceive and carry a child. According to the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, a normal TSH reading is .3-3.0

It took me a while to get pregnant also. There are actually over the counter kits that can help you get pregnant by predicting ovulation...it worked for me! They can be found at any drug store (near the pregnancy tests). Its worth a try. Wish your friend luck for me! :)
Tell her to get this book... Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. I learned a lot and it helped me get pregnant. good luck

Hi! There are some many things that can make getting pregnat hard. How long has she tried? There is so much info out there and ao many people have so many different things to say-really every situation is unique. We tried so many things and did so much research for 3 years. My husband and I both had issues so we had to turn invitroferilization. It's a very hard situation to go through (not being able to get pregnant) but fist i would definately have here talk to her ob/gyn to get a game plan going and test to see if there is an underlying reason why it's not happening-and first make her husband get a semen analysis-i was put through so much looking for other reasons and it turned out my husband had some things going on that were not helping us to get pregnant. but if she would like any help or info or just someone to talk to send me a message and i will send you my e-mail. it's a tough situation but i wish that i had someone who really understood what i was going through because everyone i talked to about it all had unplanned pregnacies so that made things evern harder! best of luck to her and please feel free to ask me whatever about it.
I had a lot of problems getting pregnant. Then someone suggested cleansing my system with regular colonics. I got pregnant. I guess my colon was impacted enough to push on my uterus and I was unable to hold a pregnancy. I think I was pretty toxic because I have always had a problem with constipation.
Maybe it sounds crazy, but I believe, for me personally, it worked...twice!

Tell her about fertilityfriend.com. It helps you track your body and gives you an online course on fertility. It amazed me how little we (us as a couple and our friends) actually knew about getting pregnant. Further, I took Heidi to a Richard Elliott concert and we had a couple of drinks.... amazing what smooth jazz and drink or two can do for the eggs

My husband and I had the same problem for four years until we ended up going to the doctor. After several tests and experiments we found out that we could get pregnant, but for some reason not by each other (his boys were not responding to my girl(s)) KWIM. So invitro was the best option, with them actually taking it a step further and helping the little men out. I forgot what the process is right now, but we ended up with a beautiful one year old girl.
It depends on how long your friend is trying, but if it's for a long while, maybe you could suggest she go and see a fertility specialist. Eating anything special, doing anything special, is really a bunch a crock if there is a hidden problem, KWIM? It would spare her a lot of hearache if she finds out a lot early if something else scientifically is going on first. Then, if there isn't, then she could try out those other methods first before going down the expensive road of doing IVF.
I wish your friend all the luck in the world in having success in having a family of her own =)
