There's Dr. Kenneth Y. Huang in Arcadia, if you don't mind driving East. He's very responsive and gets back to you on off days too.
First time parents looking for pediatrician. We would like to compile a list of possible candidates to interview by the time the baby arrives. We are also concerned about vaccinations and want to make an informed decision on wether to vaccinate or not or to space out vaccines. We are also interested in a doctor that practices wellness and or alternative care along with conventional medicine. Please let us know of any good doctors out there. We live in the Glendale area but don't mind traveling to Burbank,Pasadena,Hollywood or surrounding areas. Thanks for any help

We love our pediatrician, Dr. Henry at Glendale Pediatrics. We've seen several other doctors there and really think they're all great. They are pretty conservative in prescribing medication, and they will work with you on an alternate vaccination schedule (though they do prefer the standard schedule). They seem to take a pretty common-sense approach to everything.
Congratulations on your impending arrival! Hope you find a dr. you love.
Hi. First off, congratulations. We had a really bad experience with our first pediatricians office and were recommended to glendale pediatrics. They are amazing. Dr. Henry is great and has been very understanding with doing alternative vaccine schedules. It has been such a postive experience with glendale pediatrics compared to our last pediatricians office. They really care about your child and show it!! Good luck!
Hi T.~ I'm expecting in August and have just started interviewing pediatricians as well. Though we haven't interviewed Dr. Lauren Feder, she comes highly recommended by our midwives and friends of ours who just had their baby. They too are very interested in alternative medicine and are quite happy with her. Her website is www.drfeder.com, address is 6399 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 401, L.A. 90048, telephone is ###-###-####. Hope this helps! Congratulations and good luck!
Here's another vote for Dr. Nishibayashi on Stocker & Brand. He's very down to earth and common sensical. His nurse and office assistant are fabulous. We've only had to call on off hours twice (in 15 months)but both times he responded within the hour. And he was great about spreading out our daughter's vaccinations. He's at ###-###-####.
Check out Glendale Pediatrics. I love them. Dr. Feuille is the main doctor, but we have seen most of the doctors in the practice at some point, and have loved them all.
They spend quite a bit of time with you and answer questions and explain things. They do not rush to use antibiotics and such, but rather will try solving things naturally first.
I can't say enough good things about them. Really fantastic.
Their website is: www.glendalepediatrics.com.
This is a very important decision, so you're wise to be doing your homework on this!
Take care,
M.
i'm thinking of going to Glendale Pediatrics been hearing good things about them..we were w/ Rose City Pediatrics in Pasadena..super bad experience w/ a doc there..and won't be going back..so i would avoid them..i know a lot of people like their docs there..but our doc shook my son ..it was like the doc was having a bad day and took it out on my sweetie.
I have a really great pediatrician. Dr.Sevran, she is located in Encino. She is very friendly, all the nurses are great. Office has a sick room, and a well check room. Each filled with toys. She is also in an office with 7 other great doctors. You have the option to see them if she can't get you in, isn't in, or out of town. Has same day appts available. Will return your call personally with any questions you have. If she is available she will take the call then. She is open to doing vaccinations the way you feel most comfortable. Breaking them up, all in one etc. I interviewed 20 and she was the only one I liked and was ok with doing certain things my way. I reccomend her to all of my friends and family. Her number is ###-###-####. And you can tell her jennifer beer refered you.
If he is still around, I recommend Dr. Steven Nishibayashi on West Stocker Street in Glendale. He is fantastic.
T., I highly suggest Dr. Paul Fleiss, who was recommended to us by our amazing midwife, Tonya Brooks. Dr. Fleiss is truly one of the most amazing pediatricians my husband and I have ever met! He grants so much kindness to children and has such a big heart. We love that he passionately advocates nursing, always recommends natural remedies, and highly supports our decision not to vaccinate or circumcise our dazzling son, Dylan Orion, who so loves him and his staff.
