My wedding dress is a size 16. It is strapless. It fits at the top...but not too tight. The bodice(is that the top??) is beaded. The bottom flows out into a ball gown type thingy...Boy, I am really good at describing it huh? Anyway...it is gorgeous!

First of all, congratulations on the wedding! I got married July 27, so July is an awesome month to do it in! I would check with state parks for an outdoor wedding, sometimes you can book pavillions for free and then it all depends on how many people you want to invite. Also, churchs don't usually charge to have the wedding there, you just usually make a donation to the church and person presiding over the wedding. Think out of the box, flower girls baskets can be anything, did you get any cute packages for christmas you can paint white? the pillow is easy go get some remanent fabrics and sew it together yourself. Have a "theme" to your wedding to prevent high tux rental costs, like let the guys all wear blue dress shirts or something like that, there are a million ways to go. Francis tuttle votech and other culinary schools in the area do catering at a fraction of the cost so check into that! Hope this helps! Also, a secondhand dress is a great way to save money. I actually sold my wedding dress to a resale shop and made money after the wedding. It's the day that's special not the dress. Plus you'll have pictures to commemorate it forever.
Hi K.! First of all, congrats on the wedding, they can be stressful, but are so worth it!! I am a photographer and could do your pictures for you, if you are interested. I also do up-dos for friends, I've done them forever. I am not an expert, but I always practice before the big day! The only thing I would charge would be the supplies I would need! For the photography, I charge $150, you buy the film, and I sign the release and you can do whatever you want with it! I usually take between 10 and 12 rolls of film, depending on the size of the wedding, the location, and what you are wanting! Also, my mom, sister-in-law and I do catering. It is a set menu, no cooking or anything! Really basic and inexpensive, but looks great! It consists of bread, meat selections, condiments for sandwiches, cheese selections, veggies for sandwiches. We also do in season fruits and fruit dips and veggies and veggie dips. We don't normally do an actual punch, but instead do ice tea, water and lemonade. But anything could be arranged!
