Bob Goode in Frisco...he has saved a lot of marriages.
Wanted to know if there is a christian based marriage counselor that any of you would highly recommend! Me and my husband need this like yesterday!! We cannot afford to spend alot of money but we also cannot afford NOT to go! We will definitely take advantage of some of the seminars mentioned in previous post but we need one-on-one ASAP!!

They are amazing and have produced amazing results in both my life as well as thousands of others!!!
REALLY...you can not afford NOT to see them.
Hi N.!
I'm not sure where you live, but Suzi Hales in McKinney is truly a gift to marriage. She's off of Virginia Pkwy between Jordan & 75...worth every penny!
She's hard to get into, but they can put you on a cancelation list and will call you when something becomes available. Her number is ###-###-####.
I hope this helps! In the mean-time...keep praying...I'll be lifting you both up as well!
Shelley Gilbert is a counselor who works with First United methodist Church in McKinney. If she can't help you, she may be able to recommend someone who can. Fees are based on a sliding scale I think so the cost could be quite minimal depending on the situation. Best of luck and God bless.
This man has saved my marriage a few times...

In Richardson there is Liles Arnold at Summit Counseling ###-###-####. He is wonderful, very "cut to the chase" and tell it like it is. Gets to the issues and deals with them quickly. He is a Christian and a leader in his Bible based church. This comes through in his counseling. I would ask him if he is able to offer a reduced rate. He is worth the money (I believe we paid $75) and won't drag it on. Prayers to you-been there!

What about ur Pastor?
The Center for Christian Counseling. Their number is ###-###-####. They have 3 locations; Flowermound, Frisco, and Dallas. My husband and I went to a seminar at our church that one of the employees of the center was hosting and it was excellent! One of the books they recommeded is Sacred Marriage which I am reading right now. It is an incredible book. <http://www.c3christiancounseling.com> I just referred another couple to this place and they went to their first meeting last night. BOTH said it went well and they are on the brink of divorce, both have already consulted attorneys. God has a plan for us all and he doesn't like divorce so please give your marriage a chance.
Find a CR program. CR stands for Celebrate Recovery. This program has saved many marriages and you don't pay anything. Some CR's have babysitting, others don't. I know there is one near you. You don't have to go to the church where the CR program operates.
Contact Prestonwood Baptist Church...###-###-####
In the meantime, ( he mght be ready to thrash you too :). ).
Communicate. In our 20+ yrs of marriage through all ups and downs. Do not forget about date night! It is imperative that you have time together, go to dinner, for drinks, for a simple walk...... Do something that yoy enjoyed together before children.
That was a given when I got pregnant. We would not miss date night unless our daughter was sick.
You need time together, do it. Make it a priority.
