Need Suggestion for a Middle Name

I think a longer middle name sounds best with a shorter first name. For example Kyra Elizabeth or Kyra Danielle.

Hi, baby names are so hard to pick. With my 7 month old I wanted to give her a pretty Italian name because my husband is Italian. I was going to name her Gianna Camille, but a friend had to point out that they thought it sounded like vagina camel,nice right. My husband and I took a name that we liked, but didn't want to use as a first name cause we knew too many other baby/kids with that first name.

Maybe Lynn, Marie, Renae, Rose, Alivia???

How about Kyra Michelle?

I love the names that you have chosen. A couple other suggestions if you aren't certain on those are Kyra Noelle or Kyra Brianne. You have a good first name chosen that a lot of middle names will flow nicely with.

Because of the way you are spelling Kyra everyone will think it is (Ki-ra) ~Some spellings of the sound you want I have seen is Kiera - Keyra - Keyrah... I just wanted to give you a head up. Someone named their baby after me (My name is D. *Dev-er-eeee) but they named her Devri to be different... everyone calls her (Devry)and they hate it...

So does that put you due date in June? If so, you could do
Kyra June or if she is early......Kyra May. What are the birthstones for that month? Maybe one of those might be pretty.
We choose middle names that had meaning: Rose for the fact that we only had roses in our wedding and then Grace for our 2nd daughter because our favorite Hymn is Amazing Grace.
So maybe you could think of a family name or favorite song or something along those lines.....that way you have a story to tell.

Kyra Paige is cute and Kyra Rachel. My daughter is Sidney Rachel. For 9 months I loved Sidney for a name. Middle names are tough. I picked Ann and asked my husband for help and suggestions. She was our 4th. (I think he was tired of helping pick names. At the hospital when she was born they asked her name and I said Sidney Ann, my husband perks up ANN? Everyone has Ann for a middle name! I said fine name a suggestion. He suggested Sidney Rachel. I loved it! I don't know how he came up with it. I think maybe he had inspiration from friends. She was born on a Thursday and it was still on at the time. Kyra Sidney is cute too.

As for staying home with your children, I do the same thing. I just started selling Creative Memories, and I am doing really well with it. Its perfect for part time and you can pick your own hours. It is really helping give us so extra spending money, and I am helping pay for our Disney tickets with it. Its a lot of fun! It will get you out to keep your sanity and have adult time.

I really like Kyra Anne. I also like Kyra Grace and Kyra Makale. I love those names, but my hubby made me go with my middle name for our daughter.

You won't regret giving your daughter a family name. I named by daughter Jaidyn Murrell, Muerrell is my grandmother's middle name and she hated it. My grandmother passed away 10 years ago, long before I had Jaidyn, but my family loves her middle name because it reminds them of my grandma. I think that family names are the most important (usually for middle names though :) )

I don't know if you have decided yet but thought I would let tell you what I think. First of all I like the names you have picked. It is always nice if you can use the name of someone in your family. It makes them feel good. If you can't use your mom's middle name what about her first name. Or your mother in law's first name. Or even your middle name. I do like Kyra Anne though. Also have you asked your son for a suggestion. When we named our second child we narrowed down some choices and let your older child pick the one she liked. Maybe you should ask him what he likes. That will make him feel like he is part of the pregnancy too. It may even excite him a little more (if he isn't already). Good Luck!

Just FYI: My daughter's name is Alyssa Danielle and my son is Alexander Charles (Charles is my husband first name). My middle name is the same as my mother's and my mother's is the same as her mother's. My grandma was very upset that I didn't give my daughter a "family" name but I didn't like any of them. So in the end it is your decision and you, and your daughter, have to live with it.

I love the name Kyra! How about Kyra Skye for a suggestion. That was one of the names on our list be we are having a boy!

I think picking the name is the hardest thing to do next to going with a theme for bedding and things like that lol. we have done long and family middle names such as the oldest is 15 yrs christopher (my husband and I liked thid for a first name, Michael is my husbands middle name. Then our 2nd son his first name is Matthew, I loved this name for a boy his middle name is Thomas, my father-in-laws middle name. Then our 3rd child a girl her first name is Jilliean we call her "Jillie" her middle name is Kathryne this is my mother-in-laws middle name but I changed the spelling of it because my middle name is Kaye so if I would've used that it wouldn't be long like every one elses so I spelt my middle name in hers. Then our 4th and final child her name is Rhiannon she got her name from my husbands favorite song and that is the name of it fleetwood mac sings it. For the middle name we went with Lucille this is her great grandmothers middle name. This is just to give you an idea hope it helps. By the way I like the names you have said and I like the name Renee also. by the way all my kids have nicknames 15 yr old "Butch", 6 yr old 'Chewylicious", the 3 yr old Jillie-kat and then the 4 month old "Rhicy' first part of rhiannon and last part of lucy. good luck W.
