I'm needing some information on dental insurance. And a good kid dentist. And my son is overdue for a check up....just been procrastinating. I know how he's going to react. I don't know where to start...Help!
Another good dentist is Kids Dentist on Atkinson Road in Grayslake. My 10 year old, 5 year old, and 3 year old have been going there for many years. They take the kids in by themselves without the worried parent and everything is fine. I thought my 3 year old would be really scared, but was fine when she was away from me. Good Luck!
We have Guardian dental insurance and it's pretty good. If you don't mind driving to palatine, there's a great family dentist on Hicks/NW Hway. His name is Michael Unti. He's the only one my son will let actually clean his teeth:) Good luck!
I highly recommend my dentist, Dr. Neal Achayra. He is in Buffalo Grove. My husband and I have been using him since we moved to Illinois. He was highly recommended by my neighbors. We liked him so much, very calm, nice, that we asked if he would see our kids. He informed us that he did all the training to be a pediatric dentist. It really shows when he sees our kids. We have been going to Dr. Maddox in Gurnee, right across Grand Avenue from Borders. He is phenominal! My 5 year old twins have been going to him since they were 3 years old (my daughter fell and her front tooth started turning black - they got her in within 3 hours) love going to the dentist every time. They have great hours including Saturday hours! Our pediatrician from Lake Forest Pediatrics recommended him and we have successfully recommended him to others and they too have loved him and his office.
