We don't have NetFlix but my husband would love to watch the NetFlix only Arrested Devlopment season. If I got my husband a NetFlix gift card (saw them at Kroger) could he watch the show? We are getting a tablet through his work.

You should be able to view the shows via the Tablet. I would verify that his office will allow things like that on their property. I know some companies do NOT like things like Facebook or Myspace.com, on their property.
You can search netflix yourself to see what seasons are available without signing up!
have fun!
If you are new to netflix you can usually get your first month or more free to try it out, go to their page and see if they have any deals.
There are always options for a Free 1 month Trial of Netflix, for streaming... I of course see them all the time now that we are paying members.
Do a quick google search for them... or if you use Restaurant.com, they always offer it when I'm checking out.
I'm guessing a month would be enough time to watch the show, since you can watch multiple episodes @ a time.
Be careful tho! You'll find yourselves hooked & decide to keep a paying membership for all the other goodies Netflix has to watch! =-) T.
Sure--he's just have to subscribe til he's done watching it. It is $7.99/mo to watch online.
There are 4 seasons available.
I suggest that you go to their site and learn about it. We have Netflix and love it. My daughter and her family stopped their cable service and watch programs on Netflix everyday. This saves them a lot of money. My daughter watches shows on her tablet.
I suppose a gift card is a nice way to give the gift of Netflix but you can easily sign up on the Internet.
Netflix is great.
We have had it for years.
We watch all kinds of shows and movies, streamed on our tv.
Now, your Husband wants to watch Arrested Development. Well, there is more than 1 season to watch. Many episodes.
Then, often times, once a person watches their favorite tv episodes via Netflix streaming or via other venues, they will want to watch OTHER shows on it too. Because, it is fun and convenient and not expensive.
So, your Husband may very well, just want to be a regular subscriber to Netflix. They have many things to watch on it.
Or there is Hulu too.
And many others.
Sure, why not just get the Netflix gift card. Then he can decide if he likes it or not.
And, can he, since his tablet will be from work/his employer... will he or can he, have Netflix on it? Or is it ONLY for work purposes? It is not a personal, tablet. He does not own it, his Employer does.
Can you not watch, the Netflix on your TV?

You would really love having Netflix. You can have it on your tv even if you don't have an internet ready tv. You can watch through Wii and probably through the PS3 boxes. Or, you can buy a device that allows you to stream to your TV (Roku or Sony offer such devices). I have a sony device and have netflix and also have Amazon Prime (which allows instant streaming for free as well of movies and tv shows). The sony device I have allows for Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, etc (tons of stuff). When you buy a device, be sure to read about how it connects to your tv. My tv is older and does not have any usb connections, so I had to make sure I bought a device that could connect through the audio connections on the tv (with the red, white, and yellow cables).
Anyway, you will love that you can find shows for your girls that they will love. I have a 5 year old girl and she watches My Little Pony on netflix. When she was smaller, she would watch Dora. My son finds episodes of things he likes as well.
Then, on the weekend, we often find a family movie and kick back and watch it. Netflix has three plans you can choose from: 1) Streaming only 2) dvd's only 3) both. We have streaming only which is awesome. The best part of it is finding G rated shows whenever we want it. It is well worth the cost. Oh, and they just updated their system so when you start NetFlix, you can choose a "kid's only" menu so your kids would not accidentally click on a show that is inappropriate.
Good luck,
L.
What about just ordering it on Amazon.com if it is available?
