Hi Dawn,
I work for a very large healthcare system and just wanted to respond to your question.
I see this everyday and just wanted to let you know that first you need to contact your insurance company to obtain your benefits. Ask them if they cover outpatient services. Some people think that just because they have insurance they are covered. Not all plans are the same and not all services are covered at times. Second, depending if they do cover outpatient then the percentage the insurance does not cover, if there is a percentage (80/20, 70/20, etc.) that is the percentage that is billed out to you.
If you do not have insurance and are just a self pay patient, the amount that we charge for our patients is around $75.00. This amount is a discounted amount that we offer to all self pay patients and is expected to be paid upfront since it's discounted. I hope this was helpful to you. Good luck!
