Lands End has a great sale on all things winter, including their great boots. I recommend shopping online for the best selection. Good luck!
I need some winter boots/snow boots right away. I checked in many stores but they are mostly out of it. I checked in DSW, famous footwesr, target , kohls, marshalls, macy's... Found a cute pair in Macy's but was so expensive:( Looking for high boots which are kinda warm enough for midwest winters. Please let M. know where you found yours. I am looking for a good one but not sure I am willing to pay more than 100 bucks for the boots. Thanks in advance.

Go to Dicks, they have Sorel. Don't go cheep, it's NOT worth it if you live in Midwest. Spend around $120-$150 and they will probably last forever if your not hard on your shoes like M..
I got mine at the local ranch/farm supply store. Like a hardware store but they also have work jeans, some western style coats, and boots. They almost always have snow boots that are waterproof and lace up the front. I got mine for under $30.
I have also ordered from Sears online and they delivered the items to our local store. They have very affordable items. I love shopping there.
Mine are Totes all weather boots. Not as thick as the "moon boots" I wore as a kid, but they keep M. warm and dry in what I need to do and I like the zippers up the sides for easy getting into/out of. I got them off Zulilly but you might find them on Zappos, and they ship quick.Mine are not super high. They are mid-calf on M.. If you are looking for a good pair to really invest in, I've heard many good things about Sorel.
I was able to get my daughter a pair at Sports Authority and that was after finding nothing everywhere else. A cashier at Target told M. about them (she works at both). They had adults too, even a pair I would have liked but I already have boots and cannot splurge this year.
I get winter boots for the whole family at the Army Navy store. They carry all the best brands, Boggs, Sorrels, Baffin, ect and a decent price.
LLBean usually has a good selection. I also really like my Sorel's.

Check justfab...I think they said all their shoes are 39.99...otherwise zappos is good and has an awesome return policy
Tractor supply. I got a pair of duck boot type boots that are water proof and "fur" lined for $30! They are so warm and soft. A bit on clunky side but look cool and perform. I wanted similar ones that were uggs.. They are $240..
My best high boots came from a thrift store! They are great for shoveling snow...not fancy, but they look practically new.
Otherwise, check Old Navy...all their boots are on sale right now.
I got mine at Ross - which has the benefit of being inexpensive.
These are really cute!

I almost bought a similar pair at Marshall's for about 70 bucks, didn't and now regret it. 😕
Lands End, LL Bean, or REI
I have sorel boots that were $80. They are not super high, but do go over my ankles. I LOVE them!
