Nicknames ~ JFF

Nomi- Her name is Naomi
Boo- She reminds me of Boo from Monster's Inc.
Hammer- My husband often remarks that she's as subtle as a hammer.
Dozer- Short for Boo-Dozer or bulldozer. She tends to plow through life full speed.
Moneky-butt- She climbs on everything and everyone and she has an adorable tush.

Any compination of those. It's a wonder she actually knows her real name.

yes, my oldest is Braelyn, we call her B, or by her nick name her sister younger by 1 year gave her.. (hard to spell...) think of when you get hurt adn you say owwwe.. but add a bl in front, so its blao blao... lol, it was given to her by a 1 year old, but it stuck. and my youngest name is Lawanda, my oldest was a year old when she was born, so she pronounced it lala, so since birth, we called her and still do LaLa.. everybody, family, daycare, everybody cals her LaLa, if you ask her her name, she says LaLa.. but she also has other nick names, like Lalaloopsy, lollipop, poopey (which she gave herself)
so for a while you thought I was talking about a new weird tv show, because it was always, poopey and blao blao... lol

We call our son by his name for the most part but we refer to him as Mouse when we talk about him. It started when he was around 5 months old and his little baby coughs sounded like mouse coughs to me. So I dubbed him Mouse and it stuck. Just the other night I asked my husband if we were going to referring to our son this way when he's 18. Chuckle. Won't we be popular parents?

I usually call my son "Munch", which is short for munchkin.

When my son was little we called him "Doc"...it was right about the time the "Shining" came out with Jack Nickelson...around 1981 or so. The little boy on there was nicknamed the same and that's where we got it from.

My son's name is Banyan... We call him Ban or monkey..

My. Daughter is max. It has nothing to do with her name. She loves that pig on those commercials and that's his name! Or spidermonkey jr after her mom :)
My son is named Nicholas and I call him nicknak or nickle pickle (he's not thrilled about that one!)

Yes, occasionally I call my son Bunbun (boon-boon), and it just occurred to me that that's what I used to call my very first (and only) baby doll when I was a child. It was a male doll too! I guess it's always been a sweet-sounding nick name to me.

My daughter's name is Zoe Elizabeth. It's pretty much standard for me to call her Zoe Beth unless she's in trouble when she gets the full name. My family tends to refer to her as Zo-bug, and I've always called her pumpkin which was my grandfather's nickname for me growing up because i was born in Oct. He passed away before she was born and she was also born in Oct, so she's been my little pumpkin since before she even arrived.

I call my daughter Peas...short for sweetpea.

I call my son Jackson, "Jacksey-cracksey-ding-dong" and my daughter "ams" which is her name shortened. My step daughter is McKenna but I call her "McKenny" which she loves. =)

I call my daughter puffer-fish, which sometimes gets shortened to just puffer.

When she was little and she would get REALLY mad she would puff out her cheeks and turn red. The name just stuck.

Since it's just me and her I usually don't call her anything...... If I'm talking she assumes I'm talking to her because when I talk to the other voices in my head I try to do it silently. Occassionally, I just use her first name.

When she's in trouble I call her by my sister's name most of the time. Which my daughter can already tell you meant that I was frustrated with my sister alot in my life and that's why I think of her anytime I get frustrated now!!!!!!

I named my children Ann~Marie, Coriene, and Molly~Lynn.
I call them Ann~Marie, Coriene, and Molly~Lynn.
However, they go by, and most people call them Annie, Cori, and Molly.
