I have another question. I need to purchase a nursing bra. My problem is I have a small back and a large cup. Size 34 to 36J. Can anyone recommend a site that I can get it from? Price range $25 to $50.

I started out as a 38G for my nursing bras, so had to order them. I loved the Medela nursing bras I ordered from the JC Penney website (they don't carry that size in any store I've visited). You can get measured in a maternity store (Motherhood is good) because the sizing is different. Shortly after my second son I got re-measured and needed a 34/36DDD/E, so again had the joy of ordering bras. I have also heard a lot of women like the Bravado (I think that is what they are called) nursing bras, but they were a little pricey for me. Right now I am liking the Playtex soft-cup bras from JC Penney. If you can afford it, order a few different bras in a few different sizes and return the ones you don't like or that don't fit. That was the best thing for me. After this second baby, I have had to buy new bras three times (from weight loss), so you might start out with fewer bras at first and see if you need more. I also lived in nursing tanks on the weekends.

Where do you live? My friend owns a maternity/nursing store in Poughkeepsie and sells great nursing bras. It's called Waddle 'n Swaddle. I think you can also purchase from her website (www.waddlnswaddle.com), but it may be helpful to have someone measure you. Good luck!

As large-breasted and small-backed, like you, I found Bravados didn't give me enough support. I definitely recommend getting fitted somewhere like Intimacy (Upper East) or Town Shop (Upper West Side) or Upper Breast Side. Be warned, the bras are expensive (particularly at Intimacy) but once you find a style and size you like, you can usually find seek it out for much less online. Good luck.
I have the same problem--32 in the back and massive cup size. I recommend getting fitted--the nursing bras fit a little bit differently than your regular bras. Where are you located? Intimacy on 90th and Madison does a pretty good job and they have nursing bras in stock. I don't recommend Bra Smythe because they're brusque and rude.I have found some success with the Medela nursing bras that I got at Intimacy.
