I would highly recommend Dr. Jon Ricks. He's wonderful. His office is actually in the same building as Baylor hospital. He spends a lot of time with you and he is very thorough. I had some bleeding with my last pregnancy and by the time I got to his office it had stopped, but he still did a thorough exam as well as a sonogram just to make sure. Also, he caught my thyroid problem. He's super.

Lauren Michelsen is mine and she is good. I think she delivers at that hospital but her office is at Centennial.

I would definitely reccomend Dr. Jon Ricks. He has been my doctor for about 10 years and delivered my little girl. I actually went to the wrong hospital when it was time to deliver b/c I thought it was kidney stones. Luckily, I had time to go to the right hospital and when I called, they told me that they had already been informed to contact him whether he was on call or not when I went into labor b/c he wanted to be there. I believe he is delivering out of Baylor Frisco now. He is incredibly knowledgable and thorough. He is also the most compassionate and caring man I know. I really love him and trust him completely. He's also just really great for regular Gyno stuff, too. His staff is really great too! His number is ###-###-####.

I am so excited you posted this question. I have been a nurse at Baylor Dallas for 15 years. Most of the nurses I work with use my doctor, Dr. Glen Heckman and his group. They have two offices, one just across the street from Baylor Dallas and an office at Baylor Frisco along with priviledges to deliver there too. He has a phenomenal bedside manner and is an extremely caring physician. His partners are also great. I had three high risk pregnancies with three successful full-term births. I have had all 4 of my daughters with Dr. Suzette Boyd. Her office is at Baylor Frisco. My latest delivery was at Baylor Frisco and it certainly is a lovely facility. The food was great (yes, really). The nurses were wonderful and there were lots of little conveniences that the hospital had thought of. Dr. Boyd has been wonderful as well. She has 4 children herself so she can trully identify with the challenges of being pregnant. She does not share her practice so you will be assured a delivery with Dr. Boyd instead of delivery with one of the 5 doctors in the practice. Best wishes with your delivery!

Dr. Lauren Michelsen is absolutely wonderful - she just delivered my son at Baylor in Frisco in December - she is located at Centennial Medical Center - the name of her practice is Elite OBGYN - I can't sing her praises enough - I was high risk early on with blood pressure issues and she did everything to ensure my son was healthy when he arrived - and he is perfect!

DR. JACOBY!!!!! His office is actually at Plano Presby, but he delivered my daughter at Baylor Frisco. (Love that hospital.)

I can't say enough good things about him. My daughter was the result of IVF and my first sono with my RE we had two heartbeats. My first appointment with Jacoby we found that one of the twins had died. He let me come in for a sonogram every week for the whole first trimester to keep my mind at ease.

He was the head of OB at MCP in 2004.

He has a very high success rate of using moxibustion to turn a breech baby. (google it - it seems crazy, but it worked for me!)

He has a very low c-section rate.

He will let you have a completely pain free delivery if that's what you want. I got my epidural at 1 cm and then got another boost of the meds before I started pushing. I never felt a thing!!! (Of course, if you want to deliver without medication, he will support you in that.)

He rarely has to do an episiotomy - he uses massage and turning the baby to stretch you instead.

He's totally awesome and several of my friends use him too. He's often in D magazines list of best doctors. Here's his website.

We love Dr. David Fong, too! He delivered our first (at MCP) and will deliver our second at Baylor Frisco in May. We live in Flower Mound but drive all the way out just for him. He was recommeded to me by my Family Practitioner, he's her OB, too.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jon Ricks as well! I was referred to him after my original gyn. stopped delivering and I will be staying with Dr. Ricks. He is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever been to!!! Good luck!

Dr. Dennis Eisenberg. His office is located in the Baylor building and I absolutely adore him. He was referred to me and now all of my friends go to him and he has delivered all of our babies. He is very warm and caring and spends as much time with you as you need. In fact, I went into labor 5 weeks early and he was off the day I went into labor and came into deliver my baby. I highly recommend him and his staff is just as fabulous.
