Anyone know of a good ob/gyne at NW? Or for that matter, anywhere that isn't too far up north in Chicago?

I had twins 9 months ago at Northwestern and I LOVED my obgyn there. Her name is Christina Bonner and she is at NW, part of the Prentice practice. She ended up being out of town when I delivered so two of her co-pratictioners delivered the babies. Dr. Depasquale and Dr. Clinton (both women). They were both great too! Good luck!

Hi Nicole --

I had twins in December of 04. I worked with Scott Moses at Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group (he's got twins too) but the doc on call for my delivery was Robbye McNair (also a twin mom, ironically enough). They're not a high risk group, treat moms with a great deal of respect and caring and only intervene when needed. I felt incredibly safe and well cared for there. The midwives in the practice delivered my first child. They're at 680 N. Lake Shore Drive and their phone is ###-###-####.

Feel free to email if you need other info or just want to talk to someone who's been there. We had several false alarms late in my pregnancy and the stress/aggravation of it nearly drove me insane.

Be well.

I know that eveyone I know uses Dr. Scott Moses (used to be in practice with Joseph Heller) at Northwestern Physicians Group (I think) and they all love him and the practice. I have not used them (delivered at St. Joseph's and this time around using Midwives at Swedish Covenant), but would trust the opinions of the people that have used him.

I currently go to Shari Goldman at Northwestern. The office is very clean and everyone that I have run into at the office has been friendly (which isn't usually the case, especially with admins)
Dr Goldman is extremely knowledgeable. I feel confident having her as my doctor, and happy that she is part of Northwestern!

Dr. Alicia Lee at Northwestern has been my Primary Care Provider for 3 years and I am very happy with her. She is knowlegeable and approachable and makes me feel well taken care of. She does full physicals including gynecology so it is 1-stop for all your yearly exams.

I was having problems with my OBGYN (Womens Group) when I was due and switched in my 4th month to Lake Shore OBGYN ###-###-####. I was able to see Dr Nanette Rumsey, but felt comfortable and liked all the doctors in the practice. We had a few issues, like a breech baby, and a complication during delvery and they were wonderful. **** 4 stars!
