K.M. asks from Frisco, TX

I was reading many of the past posts tonight looking for everyone recommendation on Presby/Plano; however, many of them are marked private -- so as much as I hate to ask again. Can I enlist the help of you all to tell me who you would recommend there and why. I definitely want the compassionate, great bed side manner, preferably female (but would be willing to see male if the experience is unlike no other). Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

I recommend Dr. Gwen H. Webster. Her office is just a couple blocks from the Plano Presby Hosp, ###-###-#### (The same office as Dr. Jaffe - who is also s'pose to be good, but I never met her). She is friendly and has always taken time to answer all my questions. I was going to her for my first 2 trimesters (and a previous miscarriage), but we have moved and I will not be delivering with her. I have every confidence in her and the Plano Presby Hosp, if we had stayed in that area.

They have a sonogram machine/tech onsite. However, when I needed to have bloodwork done, I had to go (down the street) to the hospital or another off site LAB. It was never a big deal, just something to consider.

You could try Dr. Darrell Robins. His office is in Presby of Plano Hospital. He is a great doctor and very thourough. I have had him deliver all three of my babies. Trust me he is good. I have been to quite a few OBGYN and he is the best by far, I live here in Keller and I still drive all the way to see him, he even most recently delivered my 8 month old. I tried doctors here but they weren't anywhere near as compasionate. And the staff at Dr. Robins is fanatastic, they are great with me and even very helpful with my kids when I have to bring them. Not to mention when I have something that concerns me, he always gets me in that day. Good luck.

My ob/gyn is Dr. Keith Grisham. I think he's actually listed as C. Keith Grisham. His number is ###-###-####. He was awesome. I had my first and only baby with him. He's a younger guy, very down to earth. It was the best experience. My mom goes to him as well. His office used to be in Plano Presby hospital, they moved to the building behind the hospital. I absolutely love him.
The staff there is awesome and he's great.
Congrats on the new one, and could luck in your dr. search.

Dr. Deanah Jibril. ###-###-####

she's phenomenal. Super nice, super smart, puts you at ease. Gives hugs, etc, etc. She's gone through infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy, and now husband problems with me. I love her.

I think she's the perfect balance of someone who knows her stuff medically but makes you feel like you're talking to a friend.

I have Dr. Gwen Webster. She's wonderful and very cautious. She's so trustworthy...I had no worries with her. She is part of the Plano Healthcare for Women practice. Very close to Plano Presby -- on the east side of Tollway on Parker. [I like this because I don't have to park at the hospital just to have a routine dr. visit...so many dr. offices are on hospital campus.]
