Switch to an all natural product line, it SERIOUSLY has helpped my EVERYTHING! My rosacea - I only have a flare up here and there vs 24/7, my Tzone is perfect, no extra oils and my skin has a nice natural glow to it that I could never get before! I am in love with Lushusa.com or Lush stores thier products completely changed my face!

I use bare minerals makeup.

It's not great for dry skinned folks (unless they use the stuff/primer to put on your face first) but it's amaaaaaazing for those of us with oily skin.

My skin is designed for the desert. In extreme heat AND dry (I've lived on the panhandle, and other swampy or jungle areas... this ONLY applies to dry heat), my skin is GORGEOUS. Silky, velveting, smooth. Because the oils are naturally hydrating my skin and protecting it. In the humid, damp, cold... I'm a blotchy, oily, broken out mess. Or I was.

The way BareMinerals works is that it bonds with the oils on your face to create a smooth total coverage layer. And it just keeps absorbing it all. day. long. I sometimes need to reapply once, but that's usually if I've been super busy that day. I can sweat through it (doesn't run or streak), even swim in it. And it washes off with soap at the end of the day.

LOVE this makeup.

((I've tried the knock off versions, and the copycat versions by big name makeup areas. Not only do they not last anywhere near as long... a single jar lasts me 4-6 months applied every day of Bare Minerals... but even the bigger jars by other companies are gone in 1-2 months BUT THEY JUST DON'T ABSORB AND BOND WITH THE OIL the same way!!! Which is part of why I think some people prefer them.))

HINT:

1) DO NOT use the primer. Your face is making your own 'primer'.
2) The "mineral veil" is just foundation powder mixed with corn starch. You can make your own for $2. Not worth buying a whole separate jar of it. Just use an old jar (the bottoms screw off), add cornstarch, and tap some of the foundation powder into it and stir. Screw the bottom on, and voila. Just saved $25!)

Absolutely! The BEST product I have used is DDF (Doctor's Dermatological Formula) foaming facial cleanser with salicylic acid that I can find usually at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. Good luck -

This happens to me too. I use a mask once a week. There is only one brand I think its Clean & Clear that has masks that dry on your skin. A guy at Clinique told me to do this. In my week before my period i especially break out and it last until the week after. So half of month i have bumps and pimples constantly, so irritating.
Aside from that, I change my daily facial cleanser about once a month, for variety ( i heard that helps). Dont know if it does, but i pick up what is on sale or with coupons. I use the highest the percentage of benzol peroxide.
Also, I use pimple cream like Noxzema twice a day and once during the day in my t zone.
It helps but its not all gone yet, and looking through answers also.

I use CeraVe face wash and it works miracles with controlling the oil. If I happen to have a particularly oily day I use the blotting sheets I think clean & clear makes them. IMO, toner is too drying and actually causes more oil.
