Hello! I have been looking for an onine teaching position, either for college or elementary level. I have been told that there are online home school programs which hire teachers as tutors for the students. I am a certified ESL, general and special educator. Additionally I have a Masters degree in Psychology and an working on my PhD. I have applied to University of Phoenix (Axia College) so we will see if that pans out, but there does no appear to be a whole lot of other choices. I am trying to secure something soon in order to allow me to stay at home at least part time with my one and only baby next school year. If you know of any opportunities or schools which would be interested in me, please let me know.

There isn't much in Texas. There is a home school program that has partnered up with a school district in Houston, but it's a trial program and they're not hiring teachers. There are several states that have active "Public School at Home" programs - which is what Connections Academy is trying to start here, which would be more likely to be hiring at home teachers - too bad it's not in Texas yet. :(

hi! Try ratracerebellion.com- legit website where they have scoped out legit work at home jobs. I did notice a couple weeks ago, they were hiring for teachers. Just click on the daily jobs and go back through and should be there. If not, keep checking, jobs should come up. Good luck!
