Picture Project 365, Ever Done It?

I've been telling myself for 2 years that I'm going to do a project 365... meant to start on the 1st, forgot, just remembered, we'll start today.

My question is, if you've done this, how did it go? Was it a chore, or did you enjoy it? For me, I can never pick just ONE picture I love, and have a feeling that there's going to be a lot of 'cheating' going on (like taking a picture from last week and using it for next week's picture)... What did you get out of it? For me, I'm hoping for a sense of accomplishment (actually sticking to something) and I'd LOVE to see the kids evolve from day 1 to day 365.

So what did you think of the overall experience?

What can I do next?

I just started one and I really like it. I am one to not post pictures but this idea seems very interesting.

I've done it, though not for an entire year. When the kids were teensy tiny & my husband deployed for 4 months every year I took pictures every single day without fail to make books for him & send to him so he didn't feel like he missed everything.

A friend did it from the first day his son was born. Such a HUGE difference even from week to week. He did it and shared pictures almost daily so it was fun to watch the changes.

A good friend of mine just finished doing it last year, and it was amazing! I loved seeing her pictures each day, and she loved doing it. She learned so much about photography throughout the year, also. I say, go for it, and have fun!
