Pictures with Santa

Hi,
I am trying to find some ideas for pictures with Santa. I know they offer Breakfast and pictures at the Zoo, but at $70 for 3, it seems a little expensive. Besides, my daughter is 13 1/2 months and I don't even know if she will go near Santa or sit for a picture with him. Has anyone been and if so, was it worth it?

Also, breakfast and pictures with Santa at Olde World Canterbury Village is a lot less expensive, does anyone have experience with that? Any other ideas?

Thank you so much!

What can I do next?

I know in the past I have taken my daughter to the mall and when they take pictures they allow me to take some as well. I get some great photos and it has always been free. I do sometimes by the cheapest picture they are selling which is usually 7 bucks.
Also check with you local community they usually always have something and it is normally very very inexpensive.
good luck

Lincoln Park has a Christmas Fantasy Land with a great Santa. You can take your own pictures or they will take one for you. It only cost $1.00 to get in and they have all kinds of little displays that daughter will love.

Check your local parks and rec. We did dinner with Santa for years and it was really affordable. It was only pizza and crafts, but it was tons of fun!

If you have a Henry Ford membership it won't cost you anything to have a picture with Santa. They take a polaroid but also allow you to take a picture. If you don't have a membership you will have to pay admission for yourself which is $14, your daughter is free, and you can still see Santa for free and enjoy a day (or a couple of hours) at the museum.

Santa was just at our local walmart over the weekend and the pictures were free. Call around, I can't imagine that is the last time they will have him there...and you can't beat FREE. :)

BTW. Last year my son was 15 months old around Christmas and he screamed when he was put on Santas lap and I walked away, but after I held up a sucker he stopped and we got a good picture (and I purchased the cry baby one too!)

have fun.

The Hines Drive thing with the lights. Which by the way your little one might like.It used to be donations only for the photo with santa, of course that may have changed over the years.
