great question! thanks
So I've purchased a Kindle, I'm really excited about it. Now my question is I've heard that there are other places online to get free ebooks for the Kindle besides Amazon, but where? Also I thought someone mentioned that there was some list you could get on Facebook or something. I'm so new to this any advice would be helpful. So if you have a kindle and get books for free how do you do it?
great question! thanks
Project Gutenberg www.gutenberg.org has thousands of free books - all public domain, many of which are also available for free on Amazon.
I have Sony ereader..so have access to free library books, etc, but from what I understand you can not do that with Kindles as they do not support the ePub documents or whatever? (I am not that techy..sorry).
But I read about this once....

Looks like something you could check into...
Good Luck!
a friend of mine runs a book lending group for kindle on facebook. PM me if you'd like her info.
There is a borrowing/lending site you can go to and I know it is free to do both. http://www.kindlelendingclub.com/
go to www.freebies4mom.com
There are always some free book downloads. You can probably search on freebies4mom keyword "book" and you'll get all the books that are avail to download for free.
Did you try doing a google search? That's how I found apps with free books for my ipad
