Pms or Something Else?

this morning i woke up with what felt like pms cramps only on the right side. google says that its from ovulation... but i am a sunday starting bcp taker and started my new pack 2 days ago. so it seems that ovulation would be way too early. and i have never had ovulation pain before. ever since this morning i have felt crampy all day, like i did when i was on my period in highschool. (my bcp is lo-loestrin, i have 2 days of spotting for a period)
i have had 2 bm's today one soft and one firm. (my normal is 1x a day and like playdough) so that was also different. the pain radiated from my right lower ab area and eventually down to my toes before subsiding and just feeling pms crampy all around
does it sound pms related or could it just be something i ate thats upset my digestion and caused pain?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

back to normal today. so i am going to assume that it was something digestive. after eating yogurt (which usually fixes digestion issues for dh) i was feeling almost normal.
i doubt its related to my appendex because the pain was practically in my pelvic area. and never reached a severe level. ( a 3 outta 10)

Since I don't have my speculum handy, I think you should talk to your doctor. You don't ovulate when you take birth control. That's not how it works. The hormones in your BC suppress ovulation; they don't allow it.

My suggestion would be to talk to a doctor if you are having serious pain. It's your body telling you something is up. You may also have appendicitis, psoas muscle pain, an ovarian cyst...? Who knows? I had all three, and I found a doctor to be necessary in diagnosing each one. I'm not saying that you could have any of these- I'm saying a doctor actually examining you is better than the internet.

Have your doctor check it out.
Could be your appendix.

How is it today?

Could be a blocked BM. That's generally on your right side. If it's abnormal for you, I would assume that's what it is.

Pain radiating down to your toes could be something pressing on a nerve - that can happen if the blockage is pressing on nerves (that connect to other nerves, like down your leg).

That would be my guess. But of course, if it persists or gets worse, definitely call your doctor. They would have the right questions to ask. I find usually a quick visit or call and they can ease your concerns. By asking the right questions, they can rule out the serious stuff (like Appendicitis, etc.)

I wouldn't risk it myself. Good luck :)
