Hello Mama's again. I am writing this time because we will be moving to the area in Jan and were wondering what preschools and school districts are good. We may be moving to Providence or Kent County. Not sure yet. Please let me know what preschools and K-8 schools that are good ones. THank you so much! :)

West Glocester Elementary (Glocester, RI)is a High achieving school and my daughter goes there and loves it. They have a free pre-school I think its 3 days a week as long as you can pick up/drop off. All the teachers there are excellent! Great Communication and the kids like it too!

I loved Brown-Fox Point Day Care Hope St. in Providence, more important, my daughter loved it. She learned the process of learning, she learned so much and she had so much fun! She's a teen now with great memories of pre-school!

We love Candy Cane Preschool in Cranston. Our son went there and now our daughter goes. We've had wonderful experiences. Also, we hear very positive things from local grammar school teachers about the students coming from that school.

Hello -
Check out Discovery Years in Warwick. It's super clean (a big selling point for me). I have heard great things about Sweet Peas, Happy Hearts, And Storks Nest in East Greenwich. My son goes to Learning Brooke in Cranston - it uses the Reggio approach - basically where they let the child do the leading and they do a lot of observing and documenting what they see. It is also immaculate, brand new. etc. He loves it. The best one, in my opinion, is Lincoln School in Providence. They have music class, nature based art class, gym, etc. as it goes through 12th grade. They even have French and Spanish teachers who visit the room and just join in whatever activities are going on while speaking only "their" language. Plus the people are just amazing - so kind and warm. My daughter goes there - it's co-ed in the preschool, and all girls starting in Kindergarten. I love that place SO much. The only problem is that it's very, very expensive. As in VERY expensive. Worth every penny, if you have the pennies :) BTW they also use the Reggio approach.
Good luck!
