Hello wonderful mommmas,
I am pregnant at the tail end of my third but i never naturally got this far with my first two, i was induced due to severe medical reasons and complications. I have been dialated 2 1/2 centimeters for a week, and wearing a panty liner due to excess wetness. Well over the last 24 hours my pressure and contractions have been stronger, but not regulated or consistant. My wetness has gotten a little worse so my best friend told me to check myself. I did and I have a milky or coffee cream wetness coming out of me. It literally looks like milk. I do not know what it is or if it is something that I should worry about or call the Dr. about. It is not discharge or if it is it happens to be extremly liquidy. Does anyone know? I tried to research it but I am coming up empty. Thank you so much for your time.

What can I do next?

Oh hon, Get to the hospital.
When my water broke with my first I had no idea and he was without fluid for two days. He had major problems because I just didn't know what was happening.
So pack your bag, you're most likelycoming home with a baby.

Please go to the hospital ASAP! It sounds like your water broke. You probably wouldn't know what your own water looks like since you were induced both times and probably didn't actually see your water break. But when my water broke, it looked the same as what you are describing. I don't remember what the W. stuff is called, but it is basically the film that was covering the baby, which sloughs off into the amniotic fluid. I think you're in labor! Call your OB and tell her what's going on. Good luck!!!

Definately you should call your Dr. It really isn't safe to do a self vaginal check yourself as you are not sterile and could introduce yourself to an infection. Good luck and I hope all goes well, but I would definately call your OB.

Any time you have a wetness or discharge you should go ahead and call your doctor. Better safe than sorry. My water broke and I didn't even know what it was, I thought I was leaking urine. I called my doc though and they had me come in to check me out, and it turned out my water had been broken for 12 hours. I wasn't really having contractions, and I had zero dilation or effacement. They admitted me immediately to get me started on pitocin. If you are in labor you need to know asap for fear of infection. Seriously, call your OB's nurse line right now and ask their opinion. Especially since the discharge is weird. Good luck!

Yes! I just read the other answers and agree. Go to either your doctor or the hospital. Seven of our eight babies did not follow the book on how their delivery went! One did! Your labor is beginning. If you need induction to get it going more, say yes. My induction went fine. I did ask them to turn the medicine down some and they did. No problem. God bless!
