Prego Trying to Trim It Up! ;)

So, I have to laugh at myself because yesterday I tried to trim in the lower region if you get my drift! It wasn't succesful as I had hoped because quite frankly my belly is huge! I'm 30 weeks prego and this belly is big and in the way! I couldn't even push it to the side to see what I was doing. I had to use a mirror and that didn't help much either!! Believe me when I say I was totally laughing at myself! I'm either going to have to accept the fact that I'm going to have to look like a lumber jack down there or find a way to "clean myself up"! ;) Any suggestions would help! Thanks! From a hairy hoo-hooed momma! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

What can I do next?

I navigated by feel as well, also in the bath. But, I like the idea of an electric razor with a guard...

Hahaha! I'm full term pregnant and just tired to trim up in case I go into labor any day. Oh man was it funny :)
I actually asked my hubby if I could use his side burn trimmer...it worked awesome! It has different settings for different desired length and you couldn't cut yourself with it, there's a guard on it.
So there I was naked as a jay bird looking in the mirror trying to make myself look presentable for doctors that won't even notice.
It is hilarious trying to move your belly though isn't it...it doesn't move :)

Okay, apologies to my husband as I'm about to report this...but I sure, sure did make him get down there and trim some stuff up! He was a good sport about it and I think I only asked him once, right before the baby was born. With my second child I'm pretty sure I was too tired and ready to produce that kid to care what I looked like down there so I embraced my inner, and outer as it seems, lumberjack! ;)

in my first pregnancy and this one I had to learn how to navigate by feel... It is WAY easier to shave in the bath than it is the shower.

Now... you won't be shaping little hearts or trees in your "greenery"- if you are going to shave it'll have to be all or nothing, unless your husband is willing to do it for you! I like to be shaved... it just is what makes me comfortable. don't even try to use a mirror, don't even try to "look" when you are doing it! Just feel for hair, then remove your "feeling hand" and shave a little, and then repeat... don't go for perfection... just a "neat" feeling. the only other option would be to go make appts for bikini waxes (I personally cant afford those).

occasionally I ask my husband to check out my gardening... and he always says it looks just fine... I guess his opinion, and mine are the only ones that matter! I mean, only him, me and the OB dept (who doesn't care anyways) will be seeing it anyways hehe...

haha.....this was totally me in my first pregnancy! i used a mirror too and asked my husband how i did, he laughed and said A for effort! When I had my second child I bought an electric bikini trimmer, I usally went well bald and with the trimmer I was comftorable trying to do it without the guard when I couldnt see so I put it on the lowest setting and away it went! lol........it took a few tries to get it right but I got the hang of it. The only time I found I had to be careful was when trying to do my lips.......I know tmi but I cut myself and it hurt so at least if you try it you will know to be careful! good luck! if that doesnt work you could always try going to a salon for a wax if its in the budget!

hahahaha I totally remember trying to do this when I was around 35 weeks pregnant and it was next to impossible for me! I finally just gave up and told my boyfriend at the time that I would clean it up in about 5-6 more weeks. I figured the doctors wouldn't care lol

Use your hubbys trimmers. Always worked for me- and he didn't mind!

I always go by "feel" and just squat in the shower... then I could reach around my belly. You just have to shave it all though probably if you do it since you cant see what youre doing! :o)
