I am an in-home caregiver that provides 24 hour care, 7 days per week. We have been using www.starfall.com for years. We added www.time4learning.com a couple years ago. This last year we added www.storytimeforme.com too. These are all user frienly sites that my kids like to use and are not difficult for them to use. The problem I am having now is that this winter has been so long and so cold, the kids are tired of these sites. We've been on the computer an hour per day at least all winter. Normally, we would only do maybe 30 minutes per day 3-4 days per week.

Does anyone know of any other sites that are very good and easy for the kids to get around on? I don't care about paying a reasonable fee. 2 of the above listed sites do have fees, but not high ones.

Thanks :)

how about $10 per CD-rom?

- iSpy (they have a WHOLE bunch)
- Reader Rabbit (ClueFinders is the next step up -my ds7's fav-, so if you're already in addition subtraction feel free to jump there)

There's also
- pbs kids sprout
- GoogleEarth
- national geographic kids
- discovery kids
- documentaries streamed from netflix (the walking with dinosaurs series by the BBC and The Universe series by H are family favorites here)

I have a HUGE list for slightly older kids (most museums nowadays have virtual tours, then there's NASA... the CIA... tons of kid pages in .gov cites of all kinds... history sites like crazy... just tons and tons of stuff out there).. but those are the ones that come to mind for preschool.
