Dose anyone know of any programs in and around the Norwood Mass area that would be able to help a family in need to get x-mas gifts? I know of a family that could use the help! Any leads would be helpful!

Social service agencies such as the Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul have such programs. Also look at the Giving Trees in various locations. There will be the name of the sponsor included and you can contact them.

Toys for tots was the one Im thinking, Ooh-rah. My community has a program called dixie care and share for local families... yours might have one too... just google charities near city, state. If you know the family you could gather some gifts yourself, with the help of friends, family, church, work or whereever, then leave it on their porch with a card saying how much you wish them a merry christmas and hope they love the gifts... leave it anonymous so they can't be like oh we can't accept this lol. If you know their names you could put it on who gets what.

Toys for tots is amazing. Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul. In my area, which is rural, the local fire departments team up to assist with Toys for Tots. Churches usually know about how to contact these resources as well.

Best wishes!

Call the town hall or look it up on line. There is probably a department of child & family services that handles this. If they don't, they will know who will. Also, many churches and synagogues have programs. Food pantries also know who is handling clothing and gifts. Make a few calls and someone will clue you in.

try the Globe Santa (Boston Globe) It is very late to be looking for gifts, however, so I would hurry and do this immediately. I work in a place where we get tons of gift donations for families we work with, but most of those are completely filled by 12/1. Good luck!
