I am new at mamapedia and I notice when I am reading post, below it says 1 mom found this helpful. Where is the function key that you can click to indicate that a post has been helpful? Thanks for your help!

There is a spot to click that says "send a flower" that is how you indicate you found the post helpful. It sends a "flower" to the poster as well.

Hi H.F.,
Yes, what Bridgett said is right. I have been a member for a long time and I've found it to be a great resource for moms! I used to check it daily and I had to stop reading so many posts because that takes too much time away from all the stuff us moms have to do:-)

I still check out the site a couple of times a week and try to help out by giving my opinion, etc... sometimes and of course it's great when I need help from other moms because so many of them have great ideas!

Well welcome to Mamapedia. (I still think of it as Mamasource because that's what it was called when I joined.) I do think the flower idea is confusing to new members but it's a cute way of thanking someone. You can click on send flower even if you are not the one asking the question. I sometimes do if I still found it helpful for me too or if I think it was "well said" and couldn't have said it better:-) You can also click on the posters name and up will pop all the questions and answers she has typed. (Sometimes I find that interesting to learn more.)

In addition to what the other ladies have said, you can look at your flowers by going to your inbox under your account (upper right of the page). Click on the word 'contribution' to see what you said that was helpful to the person that sent the flower. I like that!
Welcome aboard!!
