Quincy Pediatrics...

I went to Quincy Pediatrics as a child myself but my girls go to Crown Colony Pediatrics in Quincy (we live in Braintree). I remember Dr. Irons and now his son is there practicing as well. I know we were transferred from the practice when I was a pre-teen because my mother was sick of waiting and waiting to see the doctors. Not sure if it's the same now or not as it's 20 years later.

Crown Colony Pediatrics have been great. One of the doctors actually saw my daughter within minutes of her being born. They are all women doctors at the moment, not sure if that makes a difference to you or not. We love Dr. Brzozowska, Dr. Angus and Dr. Wright at Crown Colony. The fourth doctor is very knowledgable (Dr. Blackman) but she's not my favorite. Also, anytime I've ever called after-hours, I've gotten a return call within 15 minutes which I find amazing.

As a child myself, Quincy Pediatrics was my second home. I don't remember many of the doctors or if they are even there anymore, but Dr. Irons is the one I do remember and he always got me better. I do not have my daughter there as I live in Brockton and I chose a pediatrician closer to me but check out Dr. Irons (if I spelled it right) My mom said he was newly out of Med school when I had him but that was a long time ago.

Love the doctors at QPA. Dr. Christian, Dr. Jones and Dr. Sharf (sp?) are great.
Office physically is bit out dated but get beyond that because care is great.

I am in a similar situation, in that I am seeking a pediatrician in my area. It has been suggested to me that I call places and see if they offer a kind of "Open House- staff introduction."
Some places do. Also call the office and ask them what to do?
For example could you speak to current clients, if they got the permission first, and these would be clients that have different doctors.
Be ready with your questions, but try to keep them brief.

My children went to Quincy Pediatrics for the first few years after they were born. They were reccommended to me and I was very happy with them. My children were born at 34 weeks and went to Quincy Peds once they were released from the hospital. They took excellent care of us. I never had a problem with any of the doctors,, excellent care! I have moved out of that area so I had to change but wouln't have if I weren't so far away now. Best of luck!

i have heard awful things about that practice but not sure of doctors. a few of my friends have transferred their care from there.

I was just browsing around the Mamsource website and came across your post. Before I read "what happened" I was going to suggest Dr. Christian. He is awesome!!!!! I am glad you love him! We have been going there for almost 11 years.
