Has anyone purchased a play system from this company? I found dealers in Grapevine and in Carrollton who I am considering. I've perused the catalog, a little surprised by the prices and options which add to the price but I really like their product. We want to buy as a Christmas gift for our sons.

Is this worth it?
Which one do you have?

Thanks for sharing anything you can on this company and product.

What can I do next?

Have you thought about Sam's Club? I also looked at the Rainbow systems and found them to be a little expensive. We did quite a bit of research and found that Sam's has some really good play yards for good prices. We got the Pathfinder system, and you can customize it a little to get only what you need. It's great quality, and because the roof (which is plastic instead of the tarp, which is nice) is green instead of the multicolored top of Rainbow systems, our Homeowner's Association approved it.
Go online to samsclub.com and look around. Good luck; hope you're able to get those little boys a great play yard!

We purchased a Rainbow play system for my son's 2nd bday. I too was surprised by the prices but after looking at all the sets in person, you get what you pay for. We looked at the playsets Sam's offered and they ran right around 1k. The scale was smaller, the support structures were thinner, lots of exposed bolts and the warranty wasn't as good. We went down to the Grapevine Rainbow dealer and they were extremely helpful without being high pressure. They had many structures built (from the really expensive to the base models) and seeing them in person made a big difference for us. We ended up with a next to base model that ran us about $1600 but has all the fun stuff that you'd want (rock climbing wall, 2 swings, slide, trapse bar and the top club house. We didn't get any options as you can add those on whenever you want.

You can just tell this thing is going to last forever!

Good luck!

We have the Rainbow Clubhouse package #2 for our 23 month old son. It has been well worth the money! They delivered it and assembled it for us and did a great job. My husband and I would never attempt to assemble it ourselves. We look forward to adding the options to it as he gets older, too.

We bought the one at Sam's also. Our kids love it. It is alot cheaper, but just as solid as the rainbow ones. The only difference is you have to put it together, but I bet you could find someone to pay them to do it!!

Boy, are we ever in the same boat. I have B/G twins turning 2 at the 1st of Dec., so I have been researching the Rainbow Play Systems. I'm not really sure where you are located, but we are in Frisco and I have been talking to USA Baby (in Frisco). There are three different Series that you can choose from, the Castle and the Clubhouse are the more expensive ones, then the Carnival Series is a little more affordable. The only difference between them is the C/C are made with 4X6 wood and the Carnival is made with 4X4 wood. Everything else is the same. There are catalogs that you can get and pick out the one that fits you best. You need to look really hard at them because I found little things that I didn't like on some of them which really help narrow it down. I finally came to two of them, one which would run me $3600 with delivery and install, and the other $2800 with the same. The difference, mostly having wood roof, or canopy. I have another baby that is 4 months, so I had to look to the future to make sure there would be enough room for her too, so you may not need three swings. All of our neighbors have the Rainbow systems and love them. Sorry about the length of this, but I was in the same boat about 4 mths. ago. Apparently they can install within a week, but ask and make sure nothing has changed. Good luck!!
