Sorry, no real recipes here... just some ideas.
When our family members have been on "no-chew" diets, here are some of the things we've been able to eat:
All kinds of shakes (mix up flavors, add different fruit, etc - chocolate/banana, vanilla w/blueberries, strawberry w/oranges added). Use shake mixes, or make smoothies using yogurt, juice, fruit, etc.
Soups - most of the cream soups don't have to be chewed, tomato, broth mixes. Ad some crackers, and wait until they get really soggy, so they add substance, but no chewing.
Pudding
Jello
Oatmeal
Cream of Wheat
Yogurt
Ice Cream
apple sauce
peanut butter on a spoon
Try to find as many "Real" foods as possible - that's what your child may start craving - something that requires a fork or spoon, but can be eaten with out chewing (you can mash things with your tongue on the roof of your mouth) -
Scrambled eggs
mashed potatoes
overcooked sweet potatoes or acorn squash
mashed cauliflower
Spagettios (maybe?)
Stove Top stuffing
Tip: Take SMALL bites
Also check the babyfood isle. Some of them have made it a long way since the old days. You might find something that your child will like.
Finally, if this is going to be for any length of time, make sure your child is taking some vitamins, pediolyte, protien powders in the shakes, etc.
Good luck!
