Chicken with Apple Butter

4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 C. apple butter (or more)
grated cheddar cheese

Place chicken in baking dish and cover with apple butter. Cover dish with foil and bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes. Uncover and top with grated cheese (to your liking); return (uncovered) dish to oven until cheese is melted.

My family loves this, enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
2 (1 1/2 pound) pork tenderloins
seasoning salt to taste
2 cups apple juice
1/2 cup apple butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

DIRECTIONS
1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). This is also good in the crock pot!
2.Season the pork tenderloins with seasoning salt, and place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish or small roasting pan. Pour apple juice (I have also used pineapples and the light syrup) over the pork, and cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
3.Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven.
4.While the pork is roasting, mix together the apple butter, brown sugar, water, cinnamon and cloves.
5. After the hour, remove pork loins from the oven, and spread the apple butter mixture over them.
Cover, and return to the oven for 2 hours, or until fork tender.

I always serve my pork roasts, chops and loins with a fruit salad to complete the dish. Hope you enjoy!

Blessings to you and yours!

You can use in in place of the oil in any recipe. It is a great replacement, will save you calories, and keeps your recipes moist!

It's not a recipe, but a teaspoon into a bowl of oatmeal makes my kids ask for seconds! They don't like the raisins I add to mine, but that's their loss! ;-)
