Recommendations for a Reclining Glider/rocker and Ottoman

I don't have a specific brand to recommend but I will mention that one thing I found when looking for ours was some of them have really low backs and when I was rocking I couldn't put my head back and rest it. I got one that had a higher back and I am soooooo glad that I did. Rocking or nursing or feeding the baby and being able to rest my head back when I was sooo tired was a life saver. Just something you might not have thought of. Good luck. Oh yeah, I did end up getting mine from a furniture store rather than the standard BRU glider type.

Check out Dutailer. It does everything that your looking for. It's a name brand. We got ours from Babies R Us. It's kinda pricey, but it's really nice. Me and my hubby (big guy) love it. It seemed to be the best quality also. Enjoy!

For the same money, we just bought a nice Lazy Boy that rocks, reclines with footrest, and swivels. And at some future point it can go in the living room.

It is hard to find one that does everything... I had an expensive glider/rocker for my first and was so sorry that I didn't have the recliner... When we had our second, I insisted on buying a new chair with a recliner/rocker... Didn't find one that I liked so we actually started to look more into the La-Z-Boy type of chair... I found that I really didn't use the rocking/glider part of the first chair anyway...
