Hi moms, I'd like a recommendation for a nice, but reasonably priced restaurant in the South Bay that seats about 20 for a luncheon after my daughter's baptism. I'd like something along the water, with maybe a view, but am open to any recommendations.

Also, if you have any recommendations for a reasonably photographer that can take pictures of the baptism, please let me know.

Thanks!

Try Baleen in Redondo Beach - part of the Portofino Hotel. Or Strand House in Manhattan Beach may be able to separate out an area - right on the water. Not many right on the water - a few that are close to it though - Bottle Inn has a room that may fit 15 -20.

Try cheesecake factory or blue water grill in Redondo. Both of them are probably pretty reasonable.

A place with a view and reasonably priced are two things I don't usually associate with the same restaurant. However, reasonably priced is a relative term. Try the Admiral Risty (RPV) or Chart House (Redondo Beach). I have not been to the Admiral Risty after their remodel so I don't know if they have a small private room now. The Chart House doesn't have a 'private room' per se, but it has an alcove to the side that is semi-private.
Also, try Trump Golf Course's restaurant. That is more reasonable than Terranea.
In the heart of PV, try some of the restaurants in the Peninsula Mall. No view, but more reasonable.
As far as photographers, go to the Wayfarer's Chapel. Local photographers put their albums there for potential customers to look at. You'll get a good feel for the photographer's style. Then you can look at their website or call them for prices. Again, I don't know what your definition of reasonable is.

As far a photographer, I have a friend from church and he posts a lot of the events he has photographed on facebook (I'm sure with the permission of the people he is photographing!), and I think he is very creative and does pretty well. His name is Casey Figlewicz, and I think his photography business is Figlewicz Photo. I would recommend checking them out.
You might also try Brian Press at Impressive Creations is you need video.

As far a place on the water with a view, I am wondering if you have thought about Ports O Call in San Pedro. They have a bunch of restaurants with ocean views and party rooms. I am partial to the San Pedro Fish Market restaurant because our friends own it, and they are very nice people :)

If you decide NOT to go with an ocean view, try Riviera Mexican Grill in Redondo, great food, very reasonably priced. I am also friends with the family that owns it, great family!
