Rocklin, California

A friend of mine has lived there for 2 years and is moving next week. She hates it. mainly because there is zero culture. And she thinks it is sort of redneck.

I have some friends that live there, they love it. Some of my other friends live around Rocklin (Lincoln, Roseville & Folsom) all great places... and little hotter than Long beach

No, Lived in VACAVILLE (Travis AFB) though and liked the area....but that's a tad bit further north and east, I believe...

My friend just moved there from San Jose. She loves it. She loves the school district and the area. I have driven through many times going to Sacremento......... so I am familar with the area and the enviroment. Very pretty. I think it is a little less costly there then Sac or San Jose.

There is a small town feel and a lot of green . Its close to ski-ing and summers are nice but can sometimes be really hot. Cute old town shops too.

I have never lived there, but I am from around that area. It's nice. Some people are saying Rocklin and some of the surrounding areas are the up and coming place to live. Like I said I didn't live there so it was more of a stop for gas or shopping destination for me. =)
