Hi T.,
My family and I just moved here in January, we wanted to go and do everything. Between the two, they are totally different places. Tombstone was very interesting, it was alot of fun. The only thing was I really couldn't read alot of the history because I have 2 kids 9 and 2. So it was very difficult to take it all in, but the kids had alot of fun watching all the shows and seeing all the people walk around like they were stuck in a different time zone. They wore the whole nine yards. It was very cool. Just be sure and check the weather you would think it is Hot down there because you are not 20 minutes from Mexico, but it is very high elevation, so it was very chilly. We went in March of last year. We also took a drive about 10 minutes south to see the ruins of a village and hike, we never really saw the village, but it was fun to get out and see the area. Now Sedona a very bueatiful part of this country. If you go there you have to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross. It is built in to the side of a mountain. It is very neat. Also you have south of Sedona is Montezuma Castle State Park which is a castle in the side of the mountain. You cant walk right up to it anymore because people were messing it up, but you can still see it. Slide Rock is neat which is kinda for the hot weather and then you have the Oak Creek Canyon that you can drive through and get out and walk around. So another word both places are great, it is just all in what kinda of thing you would want to do. Have fun and good Luck!
