I would tell you to go to Dr. L. Heflin on Graham Street!!! Her # is ###-###-####!!! She is really good with kids and adults!!! Both of kids have seen her for the past 5 years!!! But her husband is in the same office (Dr. Jerry Heflin) and he is not as friendly so I just try to see her every time!!! Good Luck with finding a doctor and if you have anymore questions you can e-mail me at ____@____.com!!!

L.,
My family physician is Dr. Bobby Donohue. And he treats our whole family. Me, my hubby and 3 boys. We have never had a problem. He has been my physician for the last 12 years and delivered my youngest. I have been to see Dr. Jerry Heflin on one occassion when Dr. Donohue was unavailable and Dr. Heflin was on call. He seemed nice and treated me with more than Dr. Donohue would have as far as meds go. You may also try Dr. Kelly Doggett. He is nice and can treat the whole family. I think that all three would be good choices and are all listed in the phone book. I think that any doctor that you pick will get to know you first and the longer he treats you the better it is. Docotrs have bad days also. I am a nurse and have worked with many of the doctors here and have seen many of them as a patient myself. Just be open minded, what one does the other may not. Some doctors people just love and others can't stand, I think that is just normal and human nature. Some are just personality clashes. I love Dr. Donohue, but others I have heard don't like his bedside manner. But have gone to the Heflin Clinic and loved both of them. Others say that Dr. Doggett is the greatest. I would also recommend not going to the Stephenville Medical and Surgical Clinic unless you need a specialist. They are very busy and sometimes can't get you in quickly when you need to see someone asap, but most of the doctors there are pretty good in my opinion and we use them as well when needed. We use Dr. Erch for surgical, Dr. Warren for podiatry both at "The Clinic". We use Dr. Bill Evans over by the post office for orthopedics. I am sorry to hear that people have told you that many are uncaring to pt's that have chronic illnesses or pain, that has not been my experience, but haven't had a chronic pain, but have had some other chronic health issues and have not found that to be the case. IF you are intersted in finding a specialist in Ft. Worth let me know, as I now work there and might be able to give you the name of some of the doctors there that I am familiar with. You can also try the Health and Nutrition center by the Sears outlet on 377, they are behind HEB. Scott and Lisa may be able to help you find a natural remedy that may help. You can also call me at ###-###-#### local cell, if you need further help. I would happy to help you. Welcome to Stephenville, The Dairy and Cowboy Capital of Texas!!!!!
Sincerely,
L. Snyder

Our family has lived in Stephenville for over 2 years and we use Dr. L. Heflin. I have always appreciated her calm demeanor and willingness to work with the specific needs of our family. Occasionally, a doctor visit will consist of 3 children needing to be seen and also either my husband or myself. I never feel rushed or that we are problematic. All concerns brought to her attention are addressed and I've never been made to feel "stupid". Dr. L. does gynecological procedures as well so there is no need to go to a separate doctor for that, unless you just feel the need to see a specialist. My husband has seen Dr. Jerry (her husband in the same practice) and has not had any complaints.

I LOVE Dr. Jeffrey Edwards, he is out at the clinic and he is fantastic. His staff is good about getting you in if you need something. I have had to wait sometime but that is usually on days that I was worked in and I didn't mind at all. There are some fantastic doctors and I think that it just is a matter of finding the one that fits you.
