Hello, Does anyone know of any good, affordable treadmills on the market? Suggestions of brand/model would be appreciated. Or, where to buy one? Are those second-hand fitness equipment places reasonable? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Kathy

I have a wooden nordic track that is in very good shape. All I am asking for is a donation. You see I run a foundation, Angel Haven Foundation, and we sell items that are donated to us to raise money to buy food for the 170 families we support in the appalachian mountains. We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization and are tax deductible also. You are more than welcome to take a look at it to see if you are interested.

We are selling my elliptical on craigslist right now for $400. I got it in January and used it maybe 5 times. I now go to the gym and dont use it.

If you are interested I have a Nordic Track Model A2050 that I purchased from Sears 3 years ago on sale for about $700 plus $250 for an extended warrantee. I had a new console and new fans installed last year through the extended warrantee. Due to a knee injury I now use an elliptical and haven't used the treadmill since January. I am willing to let it go for $300.

Have you ever checked on craigslist? We recently purchased a brand new eliptical machine from craigslist. We paid less than half price and it's been perfect. The only disadvantage was that we needed to pick it up and get it up all our stairs on our own. But definitely worth checking it out. A lot of people buy equipment and intend to use them...and then they sit and collect dust.
Hope that helps,
J.
