My kids are older now but when they were little we went to Parvin Vafai at Summit. She's mid to late 50s, very, very wonderful with children. She is I believe of Indian (not American Indian) descent and every now and then that makes her a little hard to understand but not enough to deter me from absolutely loving her. We ran into her several years after my children stopped seeing her and she remembered them by name, spoke to them, gave them each a hug. When my daughter was 3 or 4 she told Dr. Vafai that she wanted to be a doctor just like her. Dr. Vafai said, well I hope you will be a Geriatrics doctor so that I can come to you when I am old. Years later when we ran into her, she remembered that conversation and asked if my daughter still planned to be her doctor someday. She is such a wonderful lady. Good luck with your search, it's a big decision.
