I just found out I am pregnant with our 2nd child, and I am looking for a new OBGYN in my area. My current one had several doctors leave her practice and the wait time is severe....30 minutes on a good day! I haven't even had my first visit yet and want to start out with someone new this time. I prefer a doctor out of Beaumont Hospital. Any recommendations would be wonderful!

Dr. Charfoos is great. She is part of a practice in the West Bloomfield Beaumont bldg. on Orchard Lake. Also a Dr. Sylvia Simon out of Henry Ford West Bloomfield is superb.
I have been going to Labes Babaoff Banooni (there are some other names there, but I just cannot remember) in the Weight Watchers building on Orchard Lake Road, between 12 and 13 Mile Road. They are excellent. I have been seeing Babaoff for years and he is wonderful.
Congratulations! I swear by this practice - the Michigan Women's Health Institute. They are Beaumont Doctors and their practice is in the Beaumont building on Orchard Lake between 14 & 15 Mile Roads. ###-###-#### I would suggest either Dr. Migdal or Dr. Brickman. Good Luck!!
Dr. Laura Gruskin of West Oakland OB/GYN. She's located on 12 Mile between Drake and Farmington. ###-###-#### I've seen her for years, she delivered my twins, and I couldn't be happier with a doctor. She's fantastic!

I do know of a reportedly good OB in Wixom, if you are willing to drive a bit. My good friend has gone to her for a long time, and has always been very good for her. I was planning to see her myself, by I moved out of state for a great job opportunity. I have been an OB nurse, and am Lactation Certified, for many years. Anyway, her name is Dr. Christine Duffy, she is located on Wixom Road, near Pontiac Trail, and she is affiliated with Beaumont, I do believe. This is what I recall. Dr. Mary Cornelius is the best. Her practice is off of Maple between Orchard Lake and Farmington Roads. She is wonderful and I never wait more than ten minutes to get in. Dr. Andrew Markowitz is also great. Both delivered my two children. They are affiliated with Beaumont and also Huron Valley Hospital. (I went to Huron Valley for a smaller hospital feel.
