My daughter is 2. She hasn't been to a dentist yet. She fell against a curb a few months ago and hit her mouth. At the time, I didn't see any damage to her tooth, but now it is beginning to discolor. I'm afraid the tooth is dying and need to get her to a dentist right away. Can anyone recommend a good dentist for children in the Grapevine area? I have Met Life dental insurance.

This is the only dentist my kids have been to and they are 12 & 14. It's a fun, very positive atmosphere. Everyone on the team is good with the kids - and the parents. The office is busy, but there's a reason for that. Good luck!

You should call Dr. Dan Donohue - he is amazing with kids and has great office staff at both of his locations. We had a similar issue with our daughter and he gave us lots of options on what we could do about the tooth. He is great with the kids and the parents. Here's his information:

They are great and your little one will love the atmosphere and everyone in it.
We have Met Life too. The only suggestion I would make is to make sure they are very clear on the out of pocket costs and make sure you don't get a future bill. Supposedly with MetLife no matter what dentist you go to you will be paying the same amount. Any dentist contracted with them is required to charge only their amount. Somehow we got a bill after the fact but we were told all was covered but the co-pay so we still have to deal with that, I believe its a MetLife issue.

We go to Dr. Pace on Brown Trail, right before 26. I think it may be Colleyville. She does a great job with toddlers. When I took my 2 year old, she would scream when I would brush her teeth at the time. However, she was great for Dr. Pace. We also have Met Life dental, so I know they accept it.
