Good Morning,
I agree with what M. K. wrote...a professional is best needed at this time. A child Psychologist as well as a Child Psychiatrist can help with coping strategies, medication (if appropriate) and help identifying triggers that set her off. My ex-husband is bi-polar, my son has very similar issues and I've spent the past 8/10 years of his life in therapy. If you'd like the names of some good doc's..let me know. Best of luck!

Is sounds like you and your child need some professional help. Please get both of you into counseling with someone who specializes in child behavior problems. They will be able to give you some stratagies on how to deal with your child. It also sounds like your child needs some stability right now. Get a regular routine going for her so she knows what to expect.

Good Luck.

The only thing I can suggest is medication and counselling. My 15 year old son is bipolar and ADHD as well. Although he has stopped taking his meds for ADHD, he will be on meds for bipolar for the rest of his life. What a lifesaver that was. He was very angry. My kids lost their father to a drug overdose in 1994 when they were only 12 and 10. Very rough age for them. There was a lot of chaos and fighting in the house as well. In time, things will calm down. So my only suggestion again is counselling, medication and time. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Good morning A. {ü}

First you must take her off all dairy and processed foods. And please don't get her vaccinated for anything else, if she's been getting them. Bi-polar is a mineral deficiency and ADHD is a EFAs deficiency. Give your daughter liquid minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids (Omega 3,6, 9, definitely 3) Your daughter can be cured! She's also acting the way she does because she's lacking key nutrients. Check out these websites too. When you get those products, take them for yourself too!

Medication doesn't heal, it only causes more and new problems! And counseling doesn't get to the root of the problem like the right nutrients do. When we give our bodies what it needs, it will heal itself! The meds that your daughter is on is pulling vital nutrients from her body! Go to Natural Food Patch in Ferndale,###-###-####, and ask for Tina or Charlene. They can help you and your family. They have the most reasonable health products. I made my son homemade almond milk. It's more work, but it's worth it. Let me know if you want the recipe.
Be Blessed!

My step-son is also bipolar with Adhd. He often attacks his father. During his fits he has gotten so bad that the cops had to be called. He is 10. It takes all dad has at times to hold him down. Dad gets him in his room and I stand outside the door to make sure he stays and has his fit in his room. We have had him put holes in the walls but its better than him hurting one of the other kids. The doctor recently changed his dosage and we are hoping it helps.
