My recommendation is just barely north of I635, (Coit and Spring Valley). It's Cottonwood Animal Clinic, and Dr. Block is WONDERFUL. He's very thorough, and he'll recommend natural solutions when possible. Phone is ###-###-####.
Can anyone recommend a good vet in the area of NE Dallas (high 5 area - prefer not north of 635)? I need a second opinion regarding a skin/allergy condition on my pooch.

Hi, C.. I am a veterinarian and practice at Northwest Highway just past Buckner. I am on maternity leave right now, but I think very highly of all of the vets that I work with. Our webpage is www.welovepets.net. Please let me know if I can be of any help. I will return to work in November!

I love my vet. Medallion animal Clinic at the NW Hwy and Skillman area. If you know the area, it is in the same shopping Center with Party City and Target, but it is a free standing buildign that is not a part of the shopping center. We have a boxer and they are great with her!
I have an amazing vet - she may be too far for you, though. She is far for us - but completely worth the drive. Her name is Dr. Dewitt at Club Hill Animal Clinic (near the intersection of Broadway and Centerville in Garland). She actually just removed some skin cancer from our dog today. She has the BEST bedside manner - kisses our dog every time she sees him. Our dog also has skin conditions and he takes medication every day. Her prices are MUCH less than other vets. We have a friend who goes to her (she is a far drive for them as well) because she saved him tons of money each month.
Try Dr. Clint Chastain.

We've gone there once and I am now switching my dogs to this vet instead of the one we've gone to for 4 years.
I really liked them. It's the one on 635/Preston in Dallas.
I love my Vet- Eastlake Vets on Northwest Highway between Audelia and Easton- it is the orange building. They even have an "ask a vet" section on their web page! http://www.welovepets.net/services.html
When my Schnauzer was old and infirm, they were wonderful about treatment options cost, quality of life issues- and then they supported our choice- there was no pressure at all.
