Hi Ladies, I am in the process of looking for a new OB Gyn doctor in the Ft Worth area, who is accepting new patients. If anyone knows one that they highly recommend, please let me know. If you don't mind, include their contact information and office hours. Thanks.

I highly recommend Women's Health Medical Group. Besides Dr. Suba (already mentioned) there are 4-5 other docs and a CNM. They are almost always on schedule and have in-house labs and sonogram. website is www.whmg.net. I see Dr. Deem and she is wonderful (and also a mother). Have also seen Dr. Neville and she was very nice. Know several people who see Dr. Howell and love him. Can't say enough about this practice!!!
dr donald davis in arlington is AWSOME! he's a little dry, but is very good and very thurough.
Mark D. Smith is wonderful. He is taking new patients and has normal 8 to 5 office hours. He delivered my oldest daughter and I went to him after that until her moved to Ft. Worth. Now it is too far for me to drive.
A., hello. Not sure what part of Fort Worth you are looking in, but I love my doctor and she has two other female doctors in the office with her that are just as great. Here is the info... not sure if they are all actually taking new patients though.
Dr. Lori Atkins - my doctor
Dr. Jennifer Motley - actually delivered my baby girl

I love my OB/GYN! His name is Dr. Steven Suba and I have been seeing him since before my two sons were born. I am currently pregnant with my third and he is an angel! They just built a new office inside of Harris Methodist SW Professional building and all of the docs in the practice are wonderful! Plus, the new maternity ward there is supposed to be GREAT! His phone number is ###-###-####. I just adore him and his staff! They were very supportive during my pregnancies (my first child was a threatened miscarriage) and he has a great bedside manner. Good luck - it is so important to find a WONDEFUL OB that you love and trust!
Hi A.,
I love my ob/gyn. He delivered both (well one came while he was running up the stairs, but that is another story) of my children. His name is Charles Langham III. He is located in the Medical Arts building on the corner of 8th and Magnolia. His office number is ###-###-####. I believe the office opens at 8:30am and is open til 5 or 5:30pm. They are only open 1/2 a day on Fridays.
Best of luck to you.
I would highly recommend Donna Kolar. I have used her for the past 17 yrs. She is very personable and treats you individually as a patient. She takes her time with her patients, and will answer any questions you have for her. There is one thing I want to warn you about and that is that between her and the doctor in the same office (Althea Alexis - she is good too) don't be surprised if you have to wait a while for your appt. time. But believe me it is well worth it. She is located at Harris Southwest Hospital 6100 Harris Parkway Ste 200 off Overton Ridge Between Hulen and Bryant Irvin. Her phone number is ###-###-####. I'm not sure of her office hours but I know I've had really early appts at times and as late as 4:30, however she will stay until all her patients have been seen. She helped me several years back in 1994 when I had a tubal Pregnancy that ruptured and to this day she still talks about that night. That's how personal she is. She cares about you and you can't help but notice it. The other good thing is since she also has to deliver babies during office hours, her office is located right there by the part of the hospital where the Maternity area is so she is very near, and if need be she goes back and forth between the two. She also puts her patients before her lunch hour. This office doesn't close for lunch at all. I have seen her on days when my appt. is at 3:00 but she may not see me till 5:00 and she still hasn't eat yet because her patients come first. Also when I told you about my stay in the hospital. When surgery was done she spent time with my husband and explained everything that had to be done and made sure he understood. As you can tell I really do love her and HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. GOOD LUCK
One I would highly reccomend is Dr Kolar who is located on the second floor of Harris Southwest Hosp building, in what is called the Ft Worth Woman's Clinic. The phone number and address to the clinic is:

I am unsure of the office hrs I think it is 8-5pm but you can call.
She was my doctor with my 17 mo daughter and is currently my doctor for my current pregnancy which we have had some problems. She has been great for both. She was also great to my friend when went through a miscarriage and had to have a D&C and my other friend whom has had some "female problems not related to pregnancy."
One thing you should know is you sometimes have to wait to see her b/c she delivers babies and gets called down to the hospital. However I personally think she is worth the wait.
Hope this helps,
T. (Mom of 17 mo daughter and 21 wks pregnant with second daughter)
I see Dr. Laura Bradford in Fort Worth. I do not know if she is accepting new patients - but am very happy with her. She is awesome. Her office number is ###-###-####. JulieR
Dr. Mylihn Vu-Tran (sp?) is who delivered my 2 daughters, my 3 neices and my best friends baby and we all loved her. Her office is in Baylor AlSaints Cityview and she delivers in a couple different hospitals. She is so nice and all of her nurses are wonderful. Hope this helps.
Cynthia Robbins is fabulous!!!!!
I highly recommend Dr. Laura Bradford. She is the BEST! She delivered my two sons and I would switch insurance before I switched doctors to stay with her. Her office is located at 851 W. Terrell Avenue (by Harris Methodist Fort Worth) and her office number is ###-###-####.
Good Luck!!
I have a great OB GYN in Ft. Worth. He is affiliated with Harris Methodist Hospital in downtown Ft. Worth. His name is Dr. Martin Read. He has a great bedside manner and is good to answer any questions or concerns. I am not sure if he is or is not accepting patients but it is worth a call to find out. I have been going to him for the last 7 years. His nurses are good to call you back when you have a question and advise you or call in a prescription. He has an office in Ft. Worth and one off of Rufe Snow. The Ft. Worth office number is ###-###-####.
I'm telling you, Dr. McAlpine is the best! He practices at Baylor SW and Harris SW. He's my dr and I also attend all the c-sections he performs here at the hospital I work at. All the nurses in the nursery here at work recommended him to me. I switched to him after having Dr. Vu and it's been the best decision ever! He's very quiet and personable and I love all of the office staff. His # is ###-###-####. Good Luck!
I know you mentioned the Fort Worth area, but if you don't mind going into Mansfield, there is a WONDERFUL gentleman, Dr. Paul Daum, who is accepting new patients. I feel very comfortable with him and he's always very professional. My husband even likes him! He delivered our 1st child, and is in the process of helping with our second who is on the way. Not only is he great, his staff is wonderful too. Very clean environment, new office, equipment very up to date.
If you are interested, all of his information is on his website, www.mansfieldmiracles.com or you can call him at

Suzanne Pritchett is the OB I used before, during, and after both my pregnancies. She is absolutely wonderful! During my first pregnancy we lived in Arlington and I continued to drive just to stay with her. It was worth it.
You have to be patient because you might be spending a lot of time in her waiting room. It never bothered me, though I am a working woman with a tight schedule, because I knew she was giving someone else the same undivided, unhurried attention she would be giving me. She delivered my first child and would have delivered my second but my second decided to come out a bit early and Suzanne was on vacation. I did like Dr. Alexis who stepped in for the delivery while she was out. I've also seen her other colleague on occasion and like her as well. They are all top notch.

PS...just read the response below from Beverly about Donna Kolar. Dr. Kolar is the colleague that I mentioned above as having seen when Dr. Pritchett was out. As I said, they are all outstanding Docs. Any one of them would be a good choice.
I have a great Dr. his name is John Freeman and his office is in the Ben Hogan Center at Harris Dowtown. Phone # ###-###-####.
