I was on Medicaid with my son who was born April 2006 and I've been with Katy Pediatrics. My kids see Dr. Fotouh and Dr. Mammen. All the Dr.s there are very nice. Staff is pretty good. They usually have a very long wait time. Also, they are booked for weeks, sometimes over a month for general appts but if you have an emergency, they're pretty good. I don't like that the waiting room is always so crammed and it seems dirty to me (but I'm kind of a germ-a-phobe). Also, I feel like they thought I was clueless about really basic things. I'm sure they were just being courteous because I know sometimes people are clueless.
I'm switching Dr's only because I want to find an office that doesn't make it difficult for me to ask questions about the vaccine brands and to create my own vaccine schedule. Dr. Fotouh was very open minded though and I appreciated that.

Hi L.,
My pediatrician is Elizabeth Gordon. Her # is ###-###-####. We've only been seeing her less than a year but so far she has been excellent. It is really nice that she doesn't seem to overschedule--we rarely have to wait to see her (we've been there a lot this year as my older daughter, who has severe asthma, hasn't been doing too well). She is very proactive with my kids' health. She is gentle and the children like her. I saw a mom in there with twin boys, so I know she sees at least one other family with multiples! She is located on the corner of Peek and Fry Rds. in Grand Lakes. I don't know whether she takes Medicaid or not--you will have to call to find out. Good luck!

I wanna say Dr. Cohen has an office in Katy, but im not 100% sure. I live in Katy, and I go to his officer its on 10 and Gessner. I know he takes medicaide. Both of my children see him and I cant not say enough good things about him. I never wait long in the office, his staff is great, and can normaly get me in the same day when my children are sick. He goes out of his way. My DD was once sick and I called the answering service at 3am. He called me back with in 5 minutes, and he was not the doctor on call. I promise you will not regreat choosing him as you docotor. Here is his number ###-###-####
