Hey. I moved to WH about a year ago, and I am expecting my first baby inthe spring. I am trying to research pediatricians in the Winter Haven area, so when my little one comes, I have a dr in mind. Does anyone know anything about the physicians in WH and what they are like? Thanks so much for your help. Not being from the city, its been overwhelming trying to decide on OBGYNs and Peds. I too use Kinder Clinic... Both doctors are great.. They will fit you in last minute and if you have questions the nurse always calls back with in an hour to answer them.. They are all very nice and do a very good job with explaining babies to us new moms...

I use Kinder Clinic, with Dr. Kliene and Dr Whitworth. They are both great. I have always been able to get in at the last minute and the great thing with them is they don't ever want you to go to the E.R. They want you to page them and they meet you at the office, which I have done many, many times when other drs I would have had to go to the E.R. They are great with kids and just excellent Drs.

Not to make it sound like I am jumping on the bandwagon here but I also use Kinder Clinic. Dr. Heather Whitworth is the best. she has a great way with children, especially ones that don't want to be at the doctor's office. They will meet you at the office on a weekend to see your child. Just page them through the Winter Haven Hospital operators and they will call you back and do whatever is necessary to get your child well. The office is also very good about fitting you in when you don't have an appointment. Goood luck.
