I use dr Merdith Lightfoot. She is located at presby Plano and she is wonderful. Her staff was also very nice.
Good luck
I'm looking for a good urologist in the Plano area. Preferably in the Preby. Hospital of Plano area. After my second child, the annoying urine leaks when I sneeze has gotten worse. I think it's time for surgery.

Hi Y.,
Before you decide for sure to do surgery, you may want to try therapy. Tina Petree at Summit Physical Therapy specializes in pelvic floor issues.###-###-####
If you decide to do surgery, I also highly recommend Dr. Jerry Frankel in McKinney. He was one of the first doctors in the US to do outpatient bladder repair. It has a much higher success rate than the standard surgery and greatly reduced recovery time, about two weeks. He did my surgery. The pain was very minimal and I was back in my kickboxing class in two weeks.
Good luck!

Both my mother and I have used Dr. Mark Allen in Plano. I had my surgery at Presby Plano, so I know he goes there. Here is a link to his website: http://www.northdallasurology.com/physicians.shtml
P.S. I also used him years ago (before kids) for a painful bladder. he was a great help then also.
Dr. Meredith Lightfoot.
There is a great one in that same area. Dr Michael Gross

My husband is a medical equipment rep and has called on Urologists for 4+ years in the DFW area. He knows many very well. He suggests Urology Clinics of North Texas at Presby Plano/Meredith Lightfoot, MD. Says she is very pleasant and a smart doctor. Good luck!
My doctor is in Frisco. My doctor is Dr. Lauren Michelsen and I had the TVT surgery done and have not had any issues since. I had leaks too - especially sneezing, coughing or running (or a falling/tripping sensation).
Good luck! The surgery was extremely life changing for me.

I highly recommend Dr Muriel Boreham, since I went there for my own problem. She is very personable and a great listener.
She has an office at Baylor-Plano. The name of the practice is Texas Urogynecology Associates, so she's not just a urologist. She deals specifically with women's problems. Her office number is ###-###-####.
Good luck!
My all-time favorite is over by Trinity Medical Center. My son, my husband and myself have all used him. He is extremely thourough, gentle and just all around nice to deal with. We have used Mark Allen before we fould Dr. Posch and found that he was very rushed (with us at least). I do understand that Dr. Allen is very good at what he does, he just wasn't a good fit for us. Dr. Posch took a lot of time with each one of us. He was really good working with my son who was 10 or so at the time. Explaining everything and holding conversations with him, not just talking over his head to me.
I had a proceedure done in office and he was very good. I could hardly tell what was going on and he was constantly making sure I was comfortable.

The VERY best urologist in the area is Dr. Mark Allen. I think he practices out of Plano Presby and out of Frisco. I don't have his number, but he is a great doctor!
I can recommend Dr. Mark Allen. I've not had bladder issues or surgery post pregnancy so I can't help there. While I was pregnant (1994), my daughter placed herself on my bladder and I had to wear a catheter for 2 weeks. I was being cared for by Dr. Allen and Dr. Rovner.
Good luck
My OB/GYN took care of mine.
