Shampoo for 6-7 Years Old

I like Loreal kids shampoos. They are tear free and clean hair well. Sauve kid shampoos come in second.

My girls are 2 and 4 and use whatever I've bought. But because we still bathe them, we're pretty careful about soap in their eyes. If you're worried about that, then get a no-tears formula - there are lots out there :)

S.- many of the 'no tears' shampoos actually have numbing agents in them- so it isn't that they aren't burning your child's eyes, it is just that they are not able to feel it!

We like Loreal Kids shampoos for my son.

There are plenty of no-tears shampoos on the market. Even a ten-year-old can get soap in the face and in the eyes, and the no-tears inventors should get extra stars in their crowns! I can't recommend a particular brand to you, but maybe somebody else will.

If you are looking for chemical free and organic, California Baby products are great.

I would say any shampoo. Yeah there are tear free products, but depending on the type of hair, it never works. I have nephews and neices that used it and it was horrible. They have thick hair. I think it would only work on thin hair.

I use Tresme for my duaghter who is 7. It works well on her very long hair

I like the brand Fairy Tails, or maybe it is Fairy Tales, I can't remember. It is organic and all natural, so no dangerous parabens or phlataes like all the cheapo drug store brands (Suave, Herbal Essence, Pantene, etc.). I know it is available at Cole's Salons and surely it is sold in other salons as well. Smells great, works great and they also have a natural lice-repellant line, too. Good luck!

I found a clover and something else-scented shampoo at Great Clips that I like for my boys, who are 3 and 6. It's not a "baby" shampoo, which matters to them both, and it smells good, without being a really girly scent...but, on the other hand, *I* use it for a body wash when we're traveling and it's not particularly masculine, either. Anyway, nothing to recommend it particularly--not organic, or natural, or super-cheap, or anything, but I've found it hard to find things specifically for kids but not too girly in scent. Oh, my boys have mild skin issues (dry skin and eczema) it doesn't seem to bother them.

I sell and use natural products that are safe and great for sensitive skin. There is a "baby" shampoo for children, but the "adult" shampoo is very mild and I would recommend either. If you would like a link to see these products just let me know.

Suave 3 in 1, easiest for them to have one thing to use for everything.

I have my kids use adult shampoo.. herbal essence.. and then if they swim I have them use a little of my bumble and bumble or redkin (a detoxifying shampoo.. :)

Koala Kids is a good "tear free" one. If that is not necessary then Melalueca Herbal Shampoo is what I would recommend.

I would stay away from Suave and Pantene. They leave a waxy residue on your hair and make kids hair less manageble and unable to retain any benefits from conditioner. We use Rusk shampoo and conditioner which we got from the walmart salon. it works great for my 8 yr old daughter's long, thick hair and was reasonably priced.
