Help! My 3-yr-old beautifully marked all over a window sil in our house with a Sharpie! How do you get that stuff off or is it hopeless!?
I used the magic eraser and it took it off completely! I did try the alcohol and it didn't budge! Thanks for all the advice!
The oher girl is right!!! My 4 yr old thinks him and his baby sister need to do art on everything for me. So Mr.Clean eraser it is for me. Then I know if it ever happens on metal or brick, you can use OFF Mosquito spray. Yes it is crazy, but it works. Kinda scary if ya think about it. So, Mr.Clean away. The kiddos like to do it too.

If alcohol doesn't work- try hairspay- all else fails patch paint them- are they white?

If your daughter decides to use HERSELF as the canvas next time, use baby wipes. My daughter and son both did this ALL OVER their bodies and the wipes took every bit off!
I will never again be without a Magic Eraser! It took permanent marker off my mother's painting without any damage whatsoever!
Try using rubbing alcohol. My daughter totally covered her new gameboy using a sharpie and every tiny speck came off.
Try either goo-gone or a magic eraser.
I used to be an optician with EyeMasters. We would use sharpies to mark up lenses (plastic, glass, ets...)during the process of making eyeglasses for customers. We would spray rubbing alcohol on them to clean them up when handing them back to customers. The marks came off instantly!!!
