Shoes for Toddler with Extra Wide Feet

My son is 11 months old. We have been looking for shoes to fit him for a couple of months, checking Walmart, Target, etc. I took him to a department store that my mom works at to have his feet measured to find that they are 5 EE (maybe EEE - hard to get him to stand still). My problem is I can't find toddler shoes in tht size. I tried googling the size and have had no luck.

Anyone have suggestions on where to get extra wide toddler shoes? I wasn't too worried about it when he was smaller, but now that he is starting to walk, I want to get shoes for when he goes out.

What can I do next?

Well, get used to shelling out $40 - $50 for shoes! Stride Rite has wide & extra wide shoes, and I think Olly carries some wide widths. You'll never find them at Target or Walmart. Luckily my oldest son has grown out of the wide width, but looks like my youngest may be stuck with the fat feet he inherited from me!

J.,
My son who is now 5 has had wide feet since an infant. I used to buy his shoes at Stride Rite until I found the shoebuy.com website. The wonderful thing about Shoebuy.com is that you get free shipping to/from the company so if they don't fit, you can send them back without any hassle. If you need to return them, you just print out the return slip online, attach it to the box and drop it off at any UPS location.

If you go on the shoebuy.com website and sign up for membership (it's free), you will receive 10% off each order. The 10% comes off during the checkout process. Also, they run regular sales, so I always google shoebuy.com coupons before I buy anything. I usually buy shoes when they either have coupons for 20% off or $10 off $50. That way, I get the coupon, plus the 10% membership discount.

My son (now 2) has wide feet. We currently have him in Keens for the summer. They're expensive as I've had to get them at a boutique kids shoe store called Olly Shoes. But, then measure his feet using a scanner and use that image to determine his actual shoe size. Olly Shoes is on 202 S in Fairfax, DE area, but I think there may also be one up in Exton, PA.

You'll probably have to go to Stride Rite. They have multiple wide widths for kids.
