So What Happened?

Thanks moms
I think maybe she is too light for it, maybe in a couple years it will work better for us :)

A friend had one when I was little. I believe you sit on it and then use the wheel to spin the bottom. I don't think the wheel spun back then either. I've been tempted to get one for my daughter but not quite sure I want to do that. Hope she has fun.

I thought the seat spun around the central base/post (the wheel part). Maybe I am mistaken... But what would be the fun in the wheel turning?

My son loved his but it took awhile for his arms to get strong enough for it.
At first I spun him while he was on it and after a month or so he could do it by himself.

We have one that has been the same way. I was going to try some vegetable oil underneath on the spinner to see if that would help but haven't done it yet. We used to do that with the spinner in the game "LIFE" when we had problems with it spinning :)

I've seen a lot of them do that. They aren't as well made as the ones we had when we were kids. Most likely the plastic screw is warped or something.

It is very possible that it is broke. :p They are kinda cheap.

Anyway you sit indian style and then grab the wheel/stick in the middle to spin yourself. You cannot be connected to the ground or you won't spin. I have seen some use the V sit but it isn't as stable as indian style. The bottom is what spins......

or it is broken.....

you sit on it and use the wheel as a way to spin the bottom - the wheel at the top is stationary while the spot you sit on moves. When my son got one at two I had to get on it myself to figure it out - he couldn't get it to work because he didn't weigh enough! He's 4.5 now and loves it!
