on the same subject- for those with slip problems I would stick cardboard in my daughters socks and paint "puff paint" designs on the bottom which made them non-slip after she started walking- worked great!
Hi mamas!
I just have something to share here. For the longest time, we've had a hard time keeping socks on Alyssa - she is 14 months old now. They just don't want to stay on unless she has shoes on, too. But we found "Baby Hanes" socks work great! They have "Baby Hanes" written on the bottom in "non-slid" material (to help with sliding around in the kitchen!). We have a hard time finding them, but have seen them in Fred Meyer. We have even bought the boys socks for her because we couldn't find more of the girls ones. So, if any of you moms have the same problem with socks, check them out!

Hi J.,
Even now my child will only wear socks for a little while and she is 2. LOL Great idea to try this new brand! Especially for activities like gymboree. :) Thank you so much for the tip!
Blessings,

I also had problems keeping socks on my son (those triple roll socks are for the birds!).
I found some at Old Navy that work great... they are the 'ankle sock 2-pack' for $3.50. They resemble adult sport socks and come in pink, navy, white & grey with non-skid soles . Love them!
We had that same problem. We have been buying the Baby Haines socks also. Target has non-skid sock. We buy these ones also cause they come in all sorts of colors.
old navy has had the non-slip socks for a while.. just another option. i think they're great for those young walkers.

I use them too! I love how they stay on and they are thick enough to make me feel like they would be comfortable with the non-skid writing on the bottom. Another thing I use to keep socks up are BabyLegs. They are baby legwarmers and they are really cute!
